The only setup a can find on majors today. A distance beetwen pivots are too large and i cant find any fail on them.

Thats great you took the time to read the thread....Where the questions you had already answered? The thread is a bit long which i can not help, it would be alot shorter if people did not ask the same questions over and over again lol.

NP Batavier, Im glad to see an old bloke is able to learn some new tricks. I have been busy with alot of stuff and keep for getting to post the link to the song, i have it on my playlist so i hear it at least once a day...

Dredding called half of it, you have the MA on there all going solidly one direction and you traded against them. Still in my mind the biggest reason for the failed trades was the lack of any failed pivot level on the trades. The semi's are all in no mans land, no S/R identified. I'm not sure about others but the Pivot lines I have found to be very essential to identifying a good trade vs just some random bounce. It also helps in identifying your initial SL point and maybe first and second target levels for TP. USE THE PIVOTS.

ejohnston5 is right....There was not a fail at pivot. I over looked that simple fact because i would have only been looking for longs since that is what my TREND indicator told me to look for.
Price action is the most stable.
Hey guys,

What are people's thoughts on the set up below? Is it OK to go in if an opposing semaphore has been created? Trend not strong enough? Think I'm taking far too many trades. Need to cut out the junk.

I'm talking about shorting this incase it isn't clear.

Demo trading oil and indices since this strategy..being price action...is an 'all in one' strategy. Going for 1:1, I got in later then I normally would take a trade. Had no clue how to read the pricing on the chart, took me a few minutes to understand how each pip translated into US Dollars per lot size..etc..etc..

Indicies can be very profitable especially the Dow. European news that occurred long before the Dow opened yesterday set up a nice rune when it finally did. Made 150 pips on this one (entry at yellow vertical line).

Edit- No big deal..that's why we demo trade new investments. To help us understand and to learn why and how price is affected by technical's and fundamental's.

No more news for the day..besides day light savings..lol.

Did you see the headlines yesterday? Europe and China saved the global economy. All the hedge fund managers took the day off after making their millions yesterday. Market will probably trade flat for the rest of the day due to liquidity. ( I could be wrong though )

took a long on audjpy today with a nice 2 to 1 reward risk

first chart is my demand level, nice demand level can be seen clearly even for those uneducated in those studies.

second chart, is my confirmation to enter, semafor appeared second one double bottom to some ppl. HA then closed green with stochs also going green. and of coure the fail at pivot was in place
entry was red vertical line, and TP was pink horizontal line, aiming for the m3 midpivot point i put TP just before it as i dont want to be fighting to tp right on the M3 pivot.

It is a boring FRIDAY...markets did do much so i thought i would take the time to redo the Freebie Signal Alert. I am adding the highest TF trend which you can pick or use AutoTrend...and also what level stoch needs to be above/below for a filter to signals. I know the last one the alert did not work right and there was no email alert either so i have added both. If anyone has any imput on things that they might want please PM me on here and let me know. I will be releasing the new indicator over the weekend or at the start of next week.


P.S. Since i get bored alot while trading, if you have something other then a higher time frames HA you want to use for trend or another condition you want in the indicator...Send me a PM and if your ideal seems good i will code that into the indicator and then you can have your own "custom" one. Just do not pm me with every fricking indicator in the world to be added..I DO NOT CODE...so i can modify indicators/EAs only if the add is easy.

One option you might consider is changing the alert for the freebie signal alert to one of those made up .wav files you were talking about. Would add a bit of humour to it.
