I think price was around the .97 range then... lol. Finally found a bottom at .70.

Wow. Didn't realize it, but apparently he's been banned for multiple usernames. That sucks. I literally made a mint off of taking the opposite side of his trades the past few years. He would pop up on the EURUSD thread, blathering, and I would immediately start looking for technical queues to take the opposite side.

me too, when he was calling double top. then i kept on buying dips. lol

Yeah. But you can still ask yourself...."what would Skyzer do?" Then just do the exact opposite.

But back to the subject at hand.....looks like we poked into a daily supply zone on the recent highs. That's an area I will keep watching, though with the "baffle with bullshit" factor, you need to see how PA reacts. So far this retracement is by the book, hesitating at the 38.2 and the 50. The question is, will we get back to the hourly demand zone around 3900? Below that, daily demand is down around 3780. My guess, and it's only a guess, is that we at least revisit the recent highs.

rest remain the same, the red line above this is at 4101.6
however 61.8 fib (from 1.45.48.2 - 1.3145.4) is at 1.4011.2 so a possible ABCD pattern could kick in ..
who knows what those bastards thinking, it could blow rite through all the Supply zones! as soon as Euro is saved again LOL (what! for another day?)

I sure hope the Europeans have retained decent counsel to structure the terms of the 'haircut' proposal. This has unintended consequences writ large upon its face.

Tonight, ISDA is really between a rock and a hard place. If they call it like it is, the deal unravels, and, in fact, the ECB is probably insolvent, and would have to do joint/several capital calls from parliaments which can then just say 'no' and pass it to the other countries, fomenting a situation which would make Merkel and Sarkozy seem like bedmates by comparison.

If they don't call it an Event, and don't have good justification from the Europeans as to why, then they're going to be facing litigation from CDS holders, and, in fact, do serious if not terminal damage to the sovereign CDS market itself.

And, of course, the latter is likely to happen in any case. But that might not be such a bad thing, really. It would be kind of an 'emperor has no clothes' minute: implicitly believing that financial instruments of modern-day political, rather than economic, entities have to obey basic rules of finance is, at its core, absurd. This might just point that out to a lot of people.

Bingo. This is the most probable scenario.....this will severly damage the CDS market - and once again, they have unleashed much greater unforeseen consequences by engaging in such manipulation.

Man, I sure hope so. I'm going to hit the copper one more time in here someplace. Like I said last week, this is getting to be an expensive hobby.

I don't know where all this inflation mindset is coming from. So the money supply is expanding 50% a year. So what? That's just keeping the deflation in check.
