Haydel i didn't take it as i was doing something else, but the opportunity was very good indeed.

H4 10 first touches are very strong, and there was a lot of confluence at that area so the trade was very reliable.

This almost looks like constrainment from H1 10 and H1 5 and DP and RN. Already milked it for +15p. The problem is that we are hitting on the H4 10 below so be careful, it may shoot up.

I was also short. It went to +18 and came back for -16 loss.

I am sure if I had taken profit at +10 it would go down another 50-60 pips.

Kostas1 how about posting some losing trades ? I think it would be interesting to see what mistakes you make and why ?

Anyway. After my loss I kept watching for Euro to shoot up and took a long. I am break even for now.

+18p is more than you can ask for 1 trade. Take the pips while you can my friend....
I don't have many losing trades to post (5 losing trades in October, I know it sounds crazy but I learned how to take few and only the best). In any case, here is my last losing trade which I entered by too much confidence. The M15 10 had already been touched several times but I thought the high TFs would carry the price higher (teaches the old lesson, don't think where the price has to go, just follow along):

That trade is from yesterday. I took the exact same for -11.

Then I entered again long at 1.3880 for +14.

Only 5 losing trades in October !!! You are amazing.

You make me proud especially because I am also Greek.

It seems you are taking many trades that I am taking at the same time. So we must be doing something right in this thread.....

P.S. Also proud to see Greek traders in here since although we are going through tough times we have the courage to investigate alternative income avenues, i.e. it's not easy at the current economic environment in Greece to justify Forex trading to your wife......

Thanks for sharing your knowledge Kostas and the others, just letting you know I am reading learning and recording. Anyway I spotted a touch off the weekly pivot in EJ, one of those trades that Haydel have been taking. (at the start of the london session)

For AJ there is a possible touch at H1 35, DP, H4 10EMA. At this point of writing a PPA zone passes through the middle of the 35/50 H1.

Kosta you are an inspiration to us Greeks all over the world. Please keep posting your winning trades. I learn a lot from them and it keeps me going in the right direction, hopefully from a losing to winning trader one day.

GBPUSD Ping Pong.

M15 35/50 is very flat, and it seems that during this session Price will bounce a couple of times around Daily Pivot and Daily R1.

And EURUSD shows a very similar scenario.

Any Thoughts?

Am staying away from the EU now. price is going crazy!!!
Edit: I gained 72 pips (over traded, I know). Now, it's a time to relax!!! Done for the day.

Haydel you seem to have some ease with pivots, do you think looking at GU you would trade a bounce of the DP? It will be the 5th bounce today.

That was a huge pin bar on M15 on the EU this morning, good for 60 pips.

I want to be consistent like KOSTAS and other experienced traders. I must take only high probability trades. Working hard on my psychology now. Trying not to get excited when I see the setup, instead analysing the trend direction and possible trade range.

I just did and got +10p, I´m taking profits fast with caution during ranging market. DP and R1 looks like the channel to trade during this session.

Got 12.7 pips and got out very immediately. Entered with 3 pip SL. Ofcourse, non choros trade. Just wanted to try something different.

Cool. I took the trade on the pivot touch before the one you took. However I was unsure whether to take another touch so fast.

Well done Binyamin, I’m feeling more comfortable with LONGs since that was the previous trend and H4 10 is still in a very steep angle, but now I will wait to see if price goes to R1 and I will consider SHORTING there depending on time and on how the price gets there, if it does.

where did you find any good opportunities for entering today ? i couldn't find anything, so i'm staying out of the market all day long. Well it's better to finish with a 0 instead of a loss right ?
