Hi Scooby
I was wondering whether you have talked with any of your former colleagues at HSBC about this EA or your other MT4 activities. You see, we retail fx traders are often told a number of negative things: First that since we cannot see where the big boy's pending orders are sitting, there is no way we can beat the system. Then someone will point out that these huge banks have platoons of math PhDs working on automated trading, but even they have not really succeeded 100% so how on earth could little guys like us do it? Finally, we have a cr@p platform to work with in the shape of MT4.
So I was just interested in hearing what your former colleagues have to say in the face of your results, given that your EA seems to be doing something that really should not be possible in the face of this received "wisdom"?
(My personal opinion is that although MT4 is extremely buggy, the sheer amount of creativity that has been unleashed in forums like this one when combined with the crowd-sourcing that such groups of like-minded people can enjoy means that sooner or later someone will surely stumble on something that works and does everything that the "experts" say could not be done.)
Cheers
