Yep. Although, I have the 'netting plugin' in use. Averages positions.

Unsure of how it behaves when opening multiple orders in different directions though.

To be honest I've never even looked, I'm not one of those long/short fellows..sorry..

Here is my oil view bro. Rejection of daily swing high on weekly R is the play TA which is also a FA R. FA is not pointing for a bull market in stocks and oil at all. Only a further strong US and Chinese data and EZ debt cleared will make me consider the other side FA above 93.xx (that will take at least until the end of the year IMO). TA same level but with weekly/monthly close above that breakout area....

Alpari offers it. It averages your orders positions together, instead of holding onto separate ones.

Really jacks up my stat tracking program though, since I have a bunch of orders closed out at 0 profit (due to being rolled into a new averaged position).

Don't understand what you mean in the case of futures (PTL was showing oil futures I think) as the intraday maintenance margin and daily margin for the rollover are based per contract not by averaging your position but I maybe misunderstanding what you are saying...

I use a rough average, if I do multiple entries, and to be quite honest, I dont really care about the exact price.

I have never opened positions both ways. I'm either long, or short, period.

Yeah; I went completely off topic with what you guys were talking about... just noticed that he uses Alpari (as do I). I was curious if he used netting or not.
