...not rocket science IMO that they are the ones who ultimate will decide the future of the euro, even the last 6 important meeting have been between ONLY Sar-Mer in close doors...Is just like saying the US will stop or do something just because the UN votes against....if you have the money (power in whatever sense) thats what it counts...

Funny story about CNBC. In about '07, I think it was, on a floor late one afternoon, and Kudlow was on. He had an ex-Fed regional president on who I had known and had lost track of. It identified him as having an adjunct academic appointment, so I emailed him at his school.

Said I saw him on Kudlow, which as he probably knew was on most trading floors to provide comic relief, and wished him well.

He sent back a scathing reply, about the serious work that the network did in providing insights, blah, blah. Almost expected him to use the phrase "fair and balanced" by the end of the email.

Haven't communicated since.
