Im placing a SELL Limit @ 1.0350 with SL 1.0380 for a 1.0250 TP.
I am banking on the fact that we are hitting near 100MA and resistance levels within 1.0350~1.0400


I am NOT 100% CONFIDENT on this therefore, only placing small lots.

I am waiting to shoot big bullets on a MACD crossover.

Same here.. only shorting 0.01 units....

Edit: Shorted and closed lol.. 6 pips...

Just have to wait if resistance at utl around 1.0380 will hold..Start building short @ 1.0340 with small lot and will keep adding till 1.1..Good Luck !!

downward tl on H4 and daily chart still holding just barely. rest of this week will be real interesting to see if it breaks above/bounces off.

im most probably buying if we close above 1.04 or selling below 1.02, thoughts anyone?

If we could close above 0380, that would be a bullish outside day reversal candle, a clear buy signal. But we are a long way from that yet.

2 lots triggered @ 0250 overnight. One just closed on the spike up @ 0325. Holding the other for a bigger run up.

Long @ 0130.... Holding for a while
Long @ 0250.... Holding for 0350-0400 area.

As today is triple intrest day, I would love to add more on a dip, but a big dip unlikely unless so bad news comes out.

banks pay off after 3 days. and on wednesdays, banks pay off the interest earned for friday, saturday and sunday. basic forex info


i once had an ea that trades wednesday swap spikes on usdjpy. back in 2007, wednesday swap for usdjpy was about 4~5 pips. spread was 3 pips so i easily earn 1-2 pips within seconds..
broker complained i was scalping disallowing me to close faster than 5 sec...
if im not mistaken, i was trading at interbankfx?

If you don't know about triple intrest, you don't know enough to be trading live. www.Babypips.com is a good place to start. You should be Demo only until you have a basic understanding of the markets and what moves them..... Intrest rates being a big, big factor.

well, depends on the broker. I use ONADA and they calculate interest based on every second you open your order and close your order. i also had expereinece with Henyep and they didnt give triple interest on Wednesday

This seems to be the safest approach for me. If indicators present a top, I'll position with a pip with SL at 50 pips. I call it my scout to determine if I should be there. If I really think I'm at the top and it goes against me approx 10 pips, I'll then add another two pips and so on. I may lose a couple pips but since my position is a graduated increase, I usually make my money half way down where I started. Sometimes, I'll do 2, 4, 6, 8,.... or 3, 6, 9,... This does not work for the 200 or 500 pip movement against me but that's rare and I usually get to the sidelines before I get too beat up. I know there are a couple guru's out there that say this is the worst way of entering but I have tried their way and have gotten more burned than not. Maybe it's my impatience.

In general, adding to losers is an account killing strategy. It can be done successfully, if entry zones and hard stops are skillfully placed and pre-determined. Low leverage also helps.

It does not matter about your account type. It does matter what leveraged hedge funds, HSBC, Citi, Goldman, and others are doing. Intrest is a HUGE deal to the big guys. More so than ever in this yeild starved environment.

Latest SSI Chart. Lots of AUDUSD shorts on the table, makes the big guys wanna screw em and go long instead.

Im putting SL @ BE+40 to be safe now. Seems like we'd might see a run towards 1.0500 by monday?

I don't consider 10 pips going against me as a loser. Whether it becomes a loser is a matter of actual loss. If you view them as each individual position, then other than tech & fund you'd have to be a genie to know what a loser was in the first place, then you obviously wouldn't position. I've done it both ways. Both have worked and both have drawbacks. If you maintain 7 out of 10 as winners, it will work. SL is a key.

NY sesson showing signs of weakness this am. Not very probabable to break the 2 1/2 Month resistance and currently forming Doji..4hr.

Thinken will go down some more today with bad US data..GL
