I would be interested in trading the THV alongside other people in a chatroom. I trade the EUR USD off the 1m / 5m charts.

I like these guys

Main points are that 5m and 15 m trixes are crossed in the direction of the trade, at least one of them recently, 1m fast trix just changed color and the space between fast and slow is narrowing/trixes are flattening out near the zero line.
This is, in effect, catching the first retrace on the 1m chart after the 5m or 15 trix has just crossedas price turns back in that direction after a retrace. Currently I prefer to see how the higher tf trixes look and so I use the MTF trixes that you can see instead of the mtf histo.

I'm not aware about any other installer then the one on the first page.

Hello everybody!!

THV is the greatest system ever, it is giving 30% a week, but i took only SAH 4.64, combined with ELWAVE, and Sonic dragon instead of the cloud, i using 5M chart.. I am appreciate MissPips for your Sah it is the best part of the system. If it is possible can somebody give me advise. I am using in SAH only fast from 15M to H4, but i am noticed that i am getting in to the tried to late, not always but time to time, I trade to use only 15M, 30M and H4 fast, and it is looks like i can get in to the trade faster. May be there is some thing wrong with H1 fast, if 15M, 30M and H4 goes red, why H1 is green. May be it is better to exclude H1. What do you think ??

Really like your template. Would you mind sharing the one seen in your attachment? Also, do you mainly use m1 for your entries, thought I read somewhere in the thread that you prefer m5 at the moment.

Enjoy. I trade on the 1m chart but since I like to trade inside
a 5m and 15n trix cross you could say I'm actually trading the 5 m and 15 m
chart and timing the entries on the 1m

Edit: added the t3 trix - if you didn't already have it the mtf trixes won't work

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I am an experienced trader but new to the THV method. Today I am getting chopped to bits on 1m EURUSD.

I was using THV and got out of EUR/USD almost 150pips. I used the 5 min chart and 1 min for entry.

Thank you for your kind reply. First I should say that I have been trading the last 6 hours after 12 GMT where there has been a lot of chop. The London morning session was nice and trendy and I missed this.

I am currently seeing a 5min bearish set up on my EUR chart. Just waiting for the trix line's to cross and the slow trix line to turn red.

Can I ask something?

When you say I use 5min chart and 1min for entry. Do you mean you wait for all the strategy conditions for a trade to be met on the 5min then switch to the 1min and again wait for a thv set up on the 1m to form? OR do you just use 1min for pure price action entry.

also I am using ver 4.

I use the 5 minute and 15 minute chart for trend confirmation. When 5 min trix crosses and 15 min fast trix changes colour I look at 1 minute chart for a good entry point. I also pay attention to S&R and pivot levels.

To be honest, I found the london morning session more accurate rather than the NY for the THV system. During NY I usually trade price action on its own or not taking any trades at all if the market moves sideways (similar to today's session), but this is just my opinion.

The THV is a great system, but requires patient and discipline. I took so many trades ignoring the rules for THV and most of the time I lost or had to widen my SL and wait (not a good idea sometimes).

Thanks again for the reply. I have now located the THV MTF Rules so I was unaware of these! This thread is an absolute monster so following it can be troublesome unless you dedicate a week to reading it!

I took the trade today in 1000 pips, i imposed Miss Pips the latest template, to show how this trade could be taken. Only couple more changes, i add SAH 4.64 with 15M and 30M fast, and MTF ADX (8) with time frame M5. And removed trix M1. It is M1 chart, as you can see ADX cross red, trix M5 and M15 red cross, SAH red, price moved from the cloud, at this moment you can trigger, and exit when the trix fast M15 goes red. I took this trade in different set up but it is pretty much the same result

Those were a very good and profitable couple of trades but In the last one just noticed you went long while both slow and fast lines were red at the bottom of the chart ... Do you usually ignore those signals from this indicator? Do you reckon is it better to take into account the rest of the indicators first and use the trix lines just as confirmation and not triggers?

in the last one, bottom trix it is M1 trix, i am ignoring it. But M1 time frame only for the trigger, i am using first M5 for analysis, after i am sure about the trade i am looking for the trigger on M1
