SSI Chart as of Oct 13, 17:10GMT


EUR, GBP, AUD shorts are building, so much so, SSI is suggesting more upmove for these currencies.

Sorry to clutter up the forum with long here and short there kind of posts.
Got cought up in not knowing what direction to take the trades, so out of it for now. Will have to be patient to see if we get any direction from Europe open...
Expect the unexpected.

It still all about the line now at about 55. It's dosn't want to leave it, so I am sitting on my hands for now. Based on recent form, when it does decide to move it will be fast and violent to the next level.

EDIT, looking in finer detail it is making a break to the upside, but still not trusting it. Perhaps if it breaks above recent swing highs and comes back , but not all the way, then I could take it then. Guess it depends on the fundamentals which are all over the shop currently. Another strong line about 65 also.

Better get back to work !

An interesting Gann box Overlay on a 5 min chart with SMA200 & SMA125 and Fib retracement.
Just watching PA follow prediction possibilities, if you can see through the noise. LOL .. Along with trade positions that I've taken over the past couple of days.

Your doing well Don ! I'd like to do more with Gann lines myself, I have played around and sometimes they mark the spot, but not always .. but I am not sure how to draw them properly. The lines on the graph do look a little like something from the occult though !

haha Gann wasn't opposed to a bit of misty moon stuff!! I hadn't got Gann tools out in a bit and thought I would have a play with them. I had forgot how much PA follows mathematical channels. Hope you have had a good friday!!

break of 1.0230s will bring 1.0400 to the table.

could this be a real breakthrough, or just another stop hunting?

I have been covering longs on AUDUSD lately with shorts on EURUSD as they are having a strong positive 200-period correlation on 5m (97), hourly (98) and daily (84).

Sometimes the charts are clearer on one of the pairs which allows to preview what the other one could do, this is why I am also enclosing an EURUSD chart.

These are my possible scenarios on play, a mix of harmonic patterns and Wolfe waves, with probable targets at around the USA open (in 7 hours roughly), either bearish or bullish.

Who's thinking long if we get 618 retrace on this spike ?

EDIT Done Long 217, off a short term median .. prepared to take the heat down to 618 if needed.

Closed for 12pip scalp. This market makes me too nervous ! I want to keep my up sloping equity curve for the week !

EDIT - Back in off the 618. Closed +5.

If we could.

Im suspecting stop hunting at 1.0230s

PS. stop hunting or not; this is 2nd time retesting 1.0230s; we could see a clean break.
the atmosphere over at europe is very hopeful on the greece issue.

And here is a probable price action for the next hour - couple of hours: a break of the rising wedge on 5min charts, with projection of the move towards the 5M SMA200 level (roughly).

While struggling with a slow connection the price pierced and went back up... anyway the Aussie is stronger (EUR/AUD is falling) so might be slower to coordinate with the Euro-Dollar moves. Also, it would seem there is still some piece of the wedge to fill up. Who knows!
