Snuffy, I also receive the PAP sigs. do you think the inaccuracies in the history could account for the poor performance numbers that are posted for PaP?
The reason I ask, is I have consistently done much better than the posted performance...

I don't totally trust C2 numbers. It is often inaccurate. I used a signal service there sometime last year and sometimes C2 has issues.

Something to note is the trade size. On many of the trades the lots traded are 3. However, there are some big trades sizes as well -> 6 15 20 25 30.
Not what I would call consistent management. I am not sure how Vegas is deciding the size. Maybe he isn't concerned with how it looks on C2.

If the trades are supposed to be in 3 parts then I am not sure how 20 and 25 fit into this.
You know I wondered about this to, but then I have just traded in divisables of three and ignored his large sizing. I just figured He must be a much wealthier person than I.

So if I am understanding you, The C2 numbers could be skewed, because of strange accounting.

I wrote vegas about this AUD position and he answer this:

Guillermo, Raise your stop to somewhere just below the tunnel. Keep trailing as tunel goes higher until you get stopped out. I am already out of position. Nice trade. -vegas

I dont know why He is out of that position, maybe He did not take it.

1. Check post # 174 on page 12..We are using model 1 as per the current market conditions.

I have been following these methods since they first appeared here (lurker vs. poster). Anyway, I see in your analysis that you are using knife entry. I understand the knife strategy to be for the VWB 4hr models (although I really have not had a chance to study it as I have been focusing on this daily method). Have you adapted it somehow for the VWB daily models? Thanks

Please let me know if I got it right: basically, what you do is to wait price to hit an extreme fib level as per the VWB model. Then, if we are for example at the upper extreme fib level, you would enter short upon signal off the Knife system. Then, the targets would be as postulated by VWB (half out at tunnel, and let the other half run until it shows reversal).

Here is what I do..

For entries:
1. First wait for the price to breach the extreme fib.
2. Look for reversal signal. All reversal signals would not satisfy vegas 3 concepts. Here is the order of preference I go with.
a. Look for vegas 3 concepts.
b. Look for Knife entry signal.
c. Look for distinct price action like nice PIN bars, Huge BEOP/BUOBs etc, in daily charts.
d. Look for very strong weekly trendline resistance/supports.

For exits:
1. If entered with knife entry, I would prefer to take knife exits. Even though this trade is entered and exited based on knife rules, primary reason for getting in this trade is VWB reversal signal at extreme fib.

2. If entered other than knife, I would follow VWB exits like half at tunnel and other half at other extreme.

Can you tell me when you initiated each of those trades (in your chart above) in GMT Day and time...

The reason is it would help me to be able to see the chart as you did at the time you made your
decision to enter.

Hello Shan and thank you for the detailed answer.

One further question just to make sure I have understood everything. Those a-to-d elements listed above, are they exclusive or mutually required? I mean, let's say you get a short knife signal (point b), but Vegas 3 concepts (point a) havent quite presented themselves as they should -lack of momentum or whatever-. Do you still take that short knife signal, or if point a) aint there you just drop any possibility of entering at all? What about if you dont get either point a) or point b) but you do get a sweet pin bar on the daily chart off the extreme fib line?

Sorry for so many questions. I just wanna make sure Im in the same page when reading your VWB tables.
Is anyone out there haveing a connection problem with stratagy builder cant seem to open charts . It keeps giving me a no connection feed at the bottom of the screen ..
