It was just local politics. Slovak government made a huge political mistake linking the confidence vote with the EFSF.

First they agreed on a second (and third) vote if the 1st one failed so opposition votes that were in favor just abstained in the 1st vote making the government collapse, getting ride of the PM and hours after announcing that they will approve it this week. In simple words, a classic example of politics in action.

"Good" news for the EZ keep flooding the headlines every 30 minutes and now they are just riding alongside with stock markets to test the key weekly/daily R (in ES 1210xx and all other indexes) before FOMC Minutes...

yeah. seems like they have almost recovered last months losses.

Well IMO the TA do or break is on the last monthly swing low 1.383x. If they fail to break back (the one I am betting), bears will have a clean sustainable downtrend confirmed. However, I agree that they fully recovered the panic part move down (which for me makes perfect sense from a market perspective).

A bit different view there. I am neutral on stocks. ES is testing key weekly/daily R @ 1210 above is air to last breakout (QE2 end) point 124x.xx which is also the TA reason I am not bearish until is tested.

On the FA side, lots of free money guarantee (CBs) until December, earning season starting (started bad yesterday but there is lots to come), and FINALLY NFP ticked up after 6 consecutive disappointing months so a couple of average and slightly better numbers without EZ short term fears will put us on the 124x.xx / 128x.xx range for the years close with the usual (usual in a neutral range) good legs down in the middle.

if this is your line.. i think we are on the same side. i got 3826.5
and a imaginary descending tl at 3831 atm .. the st pa says 3822 3849 min.. even got my m r1 at 3872

now if we touch 3756 before a new high .. i c 3686 st min
