Is the euro 300pips better off than where it started the week? Pffft...of course not, but strange auld forces at work. The swiss and japanese definitely don't want the euro any lower against their dosh. The US? Goodness knows what they want. 1.60 in some ways, I'm sure...but that will sink europe, and i'm sure they don't want that. If they did...I'm sure they could do it overnight in one of many ways.

What, RIZD is in Providence. And besides, nobody from RISD would be accepted in Cambridge. Even the one in MA.

there is a tl around 3565.5 atm.. if we can limit this bounce to 3598.. we got a chance to break within 15 m

Wups, now I'm afraid you meant you did go to RISD, in which case I would have to clarify, if not backtrack.

Is that what you meant? I actually love RISD. The Talking Heads went there. The graduation is a hoot. The women are... ah, to be young again.

No ... I went to UF....I wanted to go to MIT, but the numbers didnt add up for me....Grad school is very self enveloping and I figured I was going to get out of it what I put in....plus the extra 40K per semster was a tough nut for me at the time....looking back.....I shoulda just gone to MIT...woulda had better contacts in this sukky economy ...maybe

The school you go to gets you your first job. After that, the playing field gets level very fast.

The contacts...sure. But the thing about the Ivy's is that it doesn't matter to a kid from the "outside" what his roommate's family is into. If you're not in the same social stratum, your contact is Christmas cards and reunions anyway.

MIT, I'd guess, is much more meritocracy, though. Just because a legacy went to Andover, he wouldn't necessarily cut it at MIT, and wouldn't stay. That's what Brown (and Dartmouth) are for.

I was accepted at Harvard and MIT..... I just couldnt stomach the nut....ahhh...4x
