good evening pattern on 4hr chart. 2 min to close.

Looks like the great risk on-off coin flip landed "off" tonight. Don't even need to check a whole bunch of markets these days: EUR and T-bond tells it all, and everything else follows in perfect sheep-like correlation. Except for grain today; somethings up with grain. But that's a real thing, so it doesn't really count.

Missed getting back short copper, by a couple cents, so that doesn't sting too badly. Re-entry might have to move down a little, but it's not going to be chased.

This was funny, at least to some, on Z H:

"Charlie Rose is hosting a presidential round table with all the usual suspects live from the last resort backup Ivy, Dartmouth college."

I called my step-son with that line (he's a graduate of one of the other Ivy's), and he thought it was funny, but his response was: "That's Brown, actually."

I'm putting this down to payback for the illogical bollocks of the last few days. Still haven't scratched the surface. 3380ish would be a half decent excursion into the world of logicality.

A lot of Undergrad from my alma mater are eagerly accepted into Cambridge schools...as I was making rounds for grad school (at MIT & Haaaaaavard) ... I was amazed at the ratio in the classes (from my school)....I walked in on some final critiques accidentally and started eating the food they had on the spread....casual like I owned the place....a snooty professor asked who in the hell was I and what was i doing.....I kindly remarked...."tasting the crappy sushi"....he asked again...I then proceeded to inform him I was scouting and he asked what undergrad I was from....I told him....his response....ahhh that explains it then....you guys are nutz....we'd love to have you....

Is the euro 300pips better off than where it started the week? Pffft...of course not, but strange auld forces at work. The swiss and japanese definitely don't want the euro any lower against their dosh. The US? Goodness knows what they want. 1.60 in some ways, I'm sure...but that will sink europe, and i'm sure they don't want that. If they did...I'm sure they could do it overnight in one of many ways.

Buzzed taxi ramble...almost home. +80 now.
