Kos,

Not trying to be rude, but the picture you posted here has the arrow in the wrong place, where HASmtf is still blue. These are NOT your rules.

OF COURSE IF I place arrow at CORRECT place, AFTER RED STARTS, AND THEN AFTER RALLY, AND ENTER AS PRICE STARTS GOING BACK DOWN, THEN YES IT LOOKS LIKE A WINNER TO ME.

Kind regards,

Don

As to why or how I do it with the fast m1, I trade 0.01 lots and the EA is set to BE once the trade goes 10 dollars which is 100 pips for the 14 pairs. Initially I used to trail but many times I am always out prematurely with $11 almost all the time

Yea, that's what always happening to me. So no more profit locking feature huh?

Btw Kos, how sure are you that when it kiss the HAS, it just bounce and not penetrate, last week with all the uncertainties, theory seems to be hard to apply.

Hmm.

Yes Don,
good observation that is the new tool I inserted into the EA, faster than HASmtf both in entry and exit, no waiting for pullback again, and it is Multi Time Frame like HASmtf, but I still keep the higher TF HASmtf within view to see the larger picture.

I mentioned it some pages back but there was no interest so I keep my thing.

I was really amazed how this idol present his arguments. Wow really great!!! Dont he know that anyone can do that? Explain a price move that has already transpire...Yeah that is what he is doing since the start of his presentation of this "Kos HAS method". Show me a post that he posted before the move happend..hehehe

The reason why i am really passionate in arguing because this is not helping the young traders. You are presenting them lies, made their eyes wide and their jaws dropping. Trading is hard even on a single pair much more on a basket. Educate the young by telling them they need to experience trading not telling them to use HAS in a 1min chart, you know that is not happening. Perhaps you are lucky at one instant or two or thrice but those gains will just be wipe out in one trade. For Pete's sake tell them the truth!!

There is no arm-twisting here no one is saying that your offline chart is not helpful, my arguments with you is the 1-min chart that you are pushing on everyone. And your mere proof are the picture of your past chart.

ZZ was right you are the one making everything blurr from your entries to your exit. EA? Big NO.. i dont use them. I am one of them BTs purist. We dont use EA in our trading.

If you are still claiming you are making it in 1-min chart trading basket it may be hard to believe that now without your pudding.

Friendly regards,

Joven

I have been out of the loop here for awhile and I am puzzled by all the back and forth bickering....

Take what you like and leave the rest.

I Started live July 2011 I was up over 22% in July I ran it down about
-40% in Aug. I screwed up my SL with the EA AND GOT STUCK hoping for a turn around. I have been fighting to get back to even since. The last week I have gained most back

As far as showing statments no one would or should do that it proves nothing they can be altered if a person wanted to do so. Just because person A is sucessful doesn't mean person B will do the same.

Kos and others have been generious to show and try to explain this BTS
It is hard to put into words what you are doing. I would love to spend a day in front of a screen with Kos

I for one would hate to see him run off this thread. Am I sticking up for him? YES!

This is a very easy method 1 indi red sell - blue buy basicly that is it
As long as the angle of the HAS is not flat or the boxes are not getting small you should be fine, try it!

No one is here selling anything - no one is calling trades.

Yes the 1 min TF and counter trades are tricky. I for one am only trading the 15minTF for now. I have demoed this for maybe 6 months and did great. So I went Live. The 1 min TF kills me at times

After I killed my account I went demo again now back live getting back to positive numbers.

Just demo the 15min TF on the color change, a good angle, and when the HAS boxes start to increase in size. Try it. Try 14 pair Try 8 pair as I use.

Try different SL I use 320 on 8 pair 8*40(make sure the ea is on lol)

Attached is a pic 15min TF Red lines enter yellow re-enter if desired

Attached is a pic ! min TF Yellow stay out Red enter
When the has boxes are getting smaller or small I stay away

I agree, Kos 's concept is good and if you demo the 1m chart with a 15m hama you can see the potential. If we all could just cut the personal crap get back to testing the system or EA, I think we'd be better off.

I believe, someone said it earlier on one of these blogs, I think it was Kos that setting the B/E and letting the postion run is the first good lead to winning. getting out too early with at least a $10 win is better then a loss.

I don't use MTF in the EA, It doesn't work well. Infact can anybody get the MTF HAMA to work in the EA with MTF??? I've tried changing the Timeframe around and just can seem to get it right. Help!

I use the 15m chart, the 15m hama indicator and B/E with TS true, 75% after 20. so far it wins 6 out of 8 but small and your out early on some long runs. This the reason I keep saying we need a better Trailing Stop, any ideas!!!

Can we get back to trading??

Do I wish Kos would share with me the EA I made and he modified? Yes. But frankly, God has not called me to quarrel, but to try and make peace. And after all, God knows I'm in this position of maybe about to be foreclosed on, it hasn't taken Him by surprise, he says I am more precious to Him than the birds of the field and feeds them, and I am eating maybe better than I ever have, because my sister can take so little and make a meal fit for a king out of it. He has an ultimate reason for it all, which I don't know other than His glory and our ultimate...

According to Kos, it doesn't work, so I'm going over it now, and going to test it on demo myself.

Added BE, using HAS on M1 for signal (waiting for pullback using bool conditions I created). According to Kos, this is what he does, so I want to replicate.

Testing on single pair first, then will transfer to T101 template I've referred to many times, and test it.

Anyone else can do this, so don't wait on me. I may not give my EA.

I know there are plenty of coders here. Someone else needs to step up. I've done so many times before. The template is here, the instructions are here.

Love is to put others above yourself. I have practiced it to an extreme for years now.

Not many here on this thread have like I have IMHO. Like I said, time for someone else to step up, do something, and give.

I can tell you one thing. Just had my first "loss" of BE+1 (my own method, using price action alone), and made profit. So that alone gets me feeling good about direction of my EA.

Kind regards,

Don

I guess no one has noticed that the "prices" don't match between the different time frames. Not sure how well the MTF indicators can work knowing this.

Just look at any swing point low or high candle in say, a 1H timeframe, and then take a look at the candles at that one hour period on the lower timeframes, none of them will be the same value of the low/high.

Hi all,

Been away and out of the loop for a few days; I see things have gotten a bit testy here. I for one prefer to stay out of the fray however considering the last couple pages of posts, I feel a need to voice a few words out of respect for some of the great contributors here.

zznmbr, disbellj, and Kosolmolate are among the biggest contributors that still show up and continue to contribute or voice opinions to this thread. I for one look up to these people with great respect and gratitude - this somehow I consider to be much different than "Idol" as some would submit. I believe all of us are here for a common reason and common goal, however we all have different levels of devotion and find ourselves in different circumstances in life and in our ability/willingness to contribute. So be it and really for me, this is the end of the story. I think many of the problems here stem from expectations: Can we actually expect everything to be delivered to us on a golden platter? From the point of view of those who are really "tuned in" and have a deep understanding and have accordingly worked hard for that; is it not understandable that they are not so quick to just hand all this to those of us who wait to be fed? And for those who doubt the integrity or intentions of those who so freely contribute, think of it this way - what gain is there for them to post something if it leads people to a dead end? I think without a doubt that those who have shared so much here have done so with the right spirit and intent.

So, for me I just keep this thread close to me; I glean what I can and share what I believe is useful (I wish I had a lot more). Kos has an EA that works (with an indicator that I'm still beating the bushes to find), zznmbr has an EA that has worked for 18 months and disbellj has something completely new working on price action. I applaud this type of creativity period! The rest of us wish we also had this but we cannot feel that it is our right! We have been given many of the keys; when we spend enough time and effort piecing things together, we'll be happier in the end and have the satisfaction of knowing that we put the pieces together in a way that works for us.

I for one can honestly say that I was never profitable with BTS until Kos presented his method. It may not be layed out to the dotting of the i’s or crossing of the t’s to the liking of a programmer, however the reality for me is that it just plain works - just a normal guy who has nothing to prove. Do I have loosing trades...absolutely but the overall picture is positive.

I would really love it if there was a way to harness all the talent that comes to this thread in a constructive way. If this were possible the brokers wouldn't stand a chance..................

Peace to all

Hi all
I agree with the statement Telac (sorry for my English, wrote a translator), Kos may be a useful indicator Nduet in this thread, and configuration sper fper can optimize my settings on your screens 1m - 55/21, 15m -144 / 55, I added another screen offline at 5 m from Heiken (TF-60) and then setting 89/34. See advanced or confirming the effect on your system.
Put two versions of the indicator.

Telac,

Thank you for posting. Greatly appreciated. You are right, if we could harness the power of who is here, and not fight each other but the problem at hand, we could overcome problems, and help people, and the brokers wouldn't have a chance.

dyclean,

Thank you for posting your trades. Greatly appreciated.

Nice to see things are getting better here. Although I'm working on Kos' EA and a separate one, still trying to find the right balance programming-wise. Frankly I'm using LWMA less and less and HASmtf more and more.

Kind regards all,

Don

BlackStack,

The mtf indicators have no problem here. They work fine. Remember, we're looking at the bigger timeframe through the viewpoint of the smaller timeframe (from bottom up! not from top down!). It's like putting a microscope down on the M15 timeframe, and seeing M1. M15 small moves are big moves on M1. That's why we see the "blocks" with range increasing or decreasing. So we're not really looking at M15 HAS, but "stretched" M15 HAS that reacts to M1 data. A VERY close-up view. What better could you ask for?

What I do in a single-pair EA is make a bool (true/false) variable named PriceIsSynchronized. I check it and if it goes a certain number of ticks where the signal TF does not match M1, the bool is set to false. When price is synchronized again, the bool is set to true. My EA is set not to trade unless PriceIsSynchronized.

So I guess the short way to say it is that I'm not concerned with larger timeframes' data not matching. You are right, and MT4 is wrong. The data should match across timeframes, but doesn't. BUT, if I can keep track of M1, I consider this the most accurate data we have with MT4, so I just make sure my prices I'm dealing with match M1's data.

Now with basket, I have all this worked out without using this. I find the very best way of calculating gains is looking at the open price of the start bar, and subtracting current price from that. No need for in-between data unless making an indicator that draws buffers (lines) showing history. If showing history, I do the same thing, except use IndicatorCounted code (to only calculate the last bar after first tick that fills in history) and i-- instead of i++ (to build buffer as time goes in MT4, from left to right, not the default and still misunderstood by me right to left (current bar to br in history, which is not way time flows and history was built). This gives you fast indicators as is possible.

OK, guess I'm just going on now. Talk later.

Kind regards,

Don
