Folks,
- this thread is for trader101's method ongoing indicators development

The method itself is here:
http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=107119

Rules

Don't
- ask what the trader101's method is
- ask basic questions about how to install indicators
- ask basic questions at all. Hint: basic question typically begins with How.
- propose create an EA for this method
- ask to adjust indicators for your personal needs (colors, screen size, etc.)
- expect to receive a response on each of your PM
- expect me be posting very often

Do
- exchange ideas/codes how to use and/or improve indicators
- post your indicator here if you're sure it brings something innovative.
- report bugs, of course
- report you successful/unsuccessful trades using posted indicators with detailed explanation how they been used.

Now two new indicators:
1. T101_v1.12_orest.mq4
what's new:
- fixed JPY pairs for fxpro, but Julius says there are still issues because pips values on fxpro are different. So, don't use it on fxpro. Please check if it's usable on alpari.
- columns meanings are changed: now it does exactly what it says
it calculates data as 30d ago, 21d ago, 14d ago, This week, This day, 4h ago, 1h ago. It should give more accurate prospective.
- data updated every tick (if your chart moving of course)
- replaced Wingdings 3 font with Wingdings, so up/down arrows are visible for those w/o MS Office
- replaced default pairs with IBFX ones, so adjust them if yours are different

2. T101_Anchor_Signals_Orest_v1.01.mq4
It's moving indicator. It shows positive (for buys) and negative (for sells) signals if "Anchor event" occurs on time frame > 1h. So, it takes in to account Weekly, Daily and 4h time frames. Put it on 1min chart. Could be used in the same chart with T101_v1.12_orest.mq4. It's kind of resource consuming - if it's very slow on your computer adjust your number of bars on a chart (Options->Chart-> max bars in chart-> 3000). It has pop up alert (tested), sound alert (untested), email alert (untested). Play with it, would be great if somebody comes up with back testing ideas.

That's it for now...

UPDATE 10/12/2008

version 1.13 is out.
Indicator becomes expert advisor type. Now no delays in ticks. Don't put it in /indicators folder.
I pulled together some documentation.

UPDATE 10/17/2008
version 1.13 is out.
Multiple Time frames are implemented.

Folks,
I have update post#1. v.1.14 is released.

Here are timeframes which are available and could be set for each column in indicator's properties.

1 - 30d, 2 - 21d, 3 - 14d, 4-This week
5 - This day, 6 - 12h, 7 - 8h, 8 - 4h
9 - 2h, 10 - 1h, 11 - 30min
12 - 15min, 13 - 5min,14 - 1min

Defaults are the same as in the previous version.
I found it useful to have two charts open (depends on your machine power). One chart is Higher Time frames, another chart with Lower time frames. Chart with Lower time frames is always open and has also BuySellBasket indicator running.

Update:

v1.15
12/01/2009
Skyline generously fixed the code to be able to work correctly on 5dig. brokers.

V1.16_ADX
12/07/2009Removed white numbers and up/down arrows and inserted ADX data on the beginning (first column) and end of the period (second column)

Update
01/05/2010
Fixed rounding for totals

Update
10/06/2011
Cosmetic changes related to UI (drag-n-drop)

Update
15/05/2012
Changes related to slippage during opening/closing the trades

This is great idea Orest to continue T101 improvement, I have been watching and silently working on original thread where learned a lot and made good profit in last week.

I will not bother you as seen in original thread that cause hack of a problem and let master mind go away.

Thanks anyway, I do not need your reply.

If you don't see numbers either then set "Show direction " properties in the indi to true.

Thanks, it works
I've also tried the anchor change indicator, looks like to work pretty well but there were a lot of false daily signals today. We can see the limits of the method in range period.

Absolutely!
What's why T101 says he normally doesn't trade in days like this. The art is to identify them though and and not to jump the gun.

Yes, I think we could use the anchor change indicator to identify this.
When we open it, we could see if there were a lot of differents signals on the Daily & 4h in the last few hours that day to decide not to trade anchors.
The question is now how to identify this exactly ...
I think it could also be nice to display the strong trend changes of the differents TF >= 4h on that graph to make the correlation between anchors changes and trend changes.
Just a few ideas ...
Edit:
Why not have 1 indicator/timeframe showing:
- Anchors changes
- Trend changes
- Buy profits (graph)
- Sells profits (graph)
- Difference without swap (graph)
I think it could become our best friend to backtest the method!

Hello Orest and to everyone else,

I'm in this tread from the beginning and I show respect to you and the other writers.
I didn't had any problems to understand you although of my bad english.
I need to translate everything with Google from the english language. It harms that it ran in such a way.

I wanted to know if it is possible to create a script like Buyall or Sellall where a window appears and where you can select one of these pairs and then confirm it, in this way you can choose what you like to trade. Sometimes I only want to buy or sell 10 or 12 pairs.

I don't know much about scripts and how to program them, but I think that here are a lot of very good Programmer.
I also don't know if it's possible to create such a script and if it would be helpful (In my opinion it would be helpful).

Thanks for your attention and I hope that Julius will still go on, even of all those rules.
Greetings
Aleks

Here is a low res version of v1.11 for IBFX.

Some colors are slightly changed. The way it works should be the same. But now you can see all colums.

I think there's a bug in the anchor change indicator, the daily top anchor became red, the bottom anchor became green and I had a Buy alert, 1hour earlier the top became green and bottom red and I had a SELL signal ...
Would it be possible that the signals are reversed ?

Orest, thanks for yoru great indicators!

I have a question, forgive me if this is a dumb one - i have really no knowledge of mql, but I am curious to understand this - In the anchor signals indicator, the buy and sell pairs are the ones that Julius suggested as default. However, further down, the code uses IBFX pairs as shown below:
"double GBPUSDm, EURGBPm, GBPJPYm, USDCHFm, NZDUSDm, AUDJPYm, EURJPYm;
double EURUSDm, USDJPYm, AUDUSDm, NZDJPYm, GBPCHFm, CHFJPYm, EURCHFm;"

Is this normal?

Orest, I will add the changes We spoke of that I made to your 1.11 to 1.12 also and post it in a bit. This in my opinion is why 1.11 is slightly different than T101s profitcalc. I have been running it for 24 hours and it is the same now. I need some sleep right now though. Do you want me to send it to you first, or just post it?
