nobody attempted anyything today? there was a nice pennant breakout 15mins in the eur/usd......SHORT...with strong candle moves....

eur/usd. 1.4249. short. TP = 90% of ADR(=100PIPS)= 90PIPS= 1.4170 AREA.

took a short at 1.4127. eur/usd. chart attached:

profit target is 90% of average daily range of eur/usd(100pips) = 90 pips = 1.4037

this system is crazy, fighting 140pips with only 2pips STOP LOSE??!!!

btw how do we find the trend? when to buy and when to sell?

i modified mine a little bit: since the average daily range of eur/usd is 100 pips. i aim for the a very high probability hit: 90pips. 90/2 = 1:45 r/r that is still insane. i dont mind 90/5 at all. because that is 1:18. Heck even 90/10 = 1:9 r/r that is still sick.

trend determination for me: check the daily, weekly, and H4 time frame. look for series of higher highs and lower lows.

anyone is making money consistently with this system?

Which is the average monthly return?

Any statement please?

This thread seems dead, maybe cause is this a failure system on the long run?

No use to act emotional when dealing with forex. Take time to analyse the chart, regardless of my late entry, an entry at exactly 8:00:01 would have got you the same type of reward. Unfortunately, after a long 100 pips flight, we landed.

I know sometimes life gets in the way of the best-intentioned traders, and I wanna thank you Tony for re-upping you commitment/postings. I am not trading this strat live at this moment, but do look forward to future posts and the continuation of this thread and re-visiting this way of trading as my schedule changes and as the trade evolves. Tony, that's so correct. It will always be a "work in progress" for me but, it's so important. Reminded me of this post:
