Hi i want to start trading small, and im based in the UK. I would like to open an mt4 account as im used to using it in demo, so i feel comfortable with it.

I would ideally want to deposit £50 (but alot of brokers require a larger minimum deposit size). I think i should be trading micro account with pip size of about 5p-10p per pip or may even smaller becuase with such a small balance i wouldnt have the margin to cover having 4-5 trades running at the same time?

who should i go with, does anybody have ideas about a decent broker, mt4 and that allows such a small deposit and volume size?

thanks

You can try Roboforex, they are honest, reliable and very flexible, no bullshit restrictions. FXopen is good too, but their Place_orders_10_pip_away rule sucks !!

One thing I'd like to share... the FXOpen rule probably sucks, but the broker itself sucks big time. Too many complaints I've read about them.

i say grab $500 at least with LOW LEVERAGE.

im going back live with micro on $1000 with 1:10 leverage.

You dont need to get margin calls and wipe out ur account for being careless on leverage

i say start with $500 risk capital

lol

its going great to be honest.

ive spent nearly 2 years doing research and reading and feel i have a much better understanding of things. but im sure i still have alot to learn!

but sadly i havent read "the basics" yet and really should be more concerned with understanding lots, and all the terminology that surrounds it.....because that is what makes you successful in trading......

thanks bumapatria good luck with your trading too

My suggestion to you is to have an open mind to new ideas, never block your ears, always take in new knowledge, hunt it. Hunt it like you never had enough. When coming to application, you choose what you want to apply
