I am trying to install THV CaveManager EA v1.41 but it downloads as a PDF Document.
I put it in Experts in my metatader platform but when I open my charts and click on Experts it isn't there.
Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

I have installed Cavemanager but it is stopping trades at break even or small loss even though I have set stop loss to 25 and take profit to 30.
I have read the instructions for setting it up but am finding it quite difficult.
Could someone post a screenshot of their setting so I can see where I am going wrong?

Hi, MissPips, I have been reading this thread a lot for a long time, this is my first post here due to just recently registering as a user in FF (i was gathering information before asking questions). I have noticed your system, for me it looks very promising. I have studied through and read all your important posts, downloaded all needed attachments (hopefully). Now I've been practising and I have some small questions for you:

<In the post below you mentioned that you do not trade when ANYBODY is on holiday, does it mean that you was sitting on your hands for all this week? that is really so strict for you? or it depends on which bank exactly is on holiday?
<You are not trading when major news take place not only for EUR and USD but also for other currencies? either red and orange?
<You have said that you open a trade with two lots, one you close after reaching 10 pips but for the other one you set SL at B/E and let it ride. How exactly do you do that? Are you doing that manually or you use something to manage that (for example EA)?
<I know I shouldnt ask this but has anything changed since you posted your latest template cleanrainbow5and1latest.zip on Apr 1, 2011 ? Are there any improvemets? Or you are using the same system and template?

Hi

Please could you guide me through the proccess of how can I have the attached ichimoku ex4 file in my MT4 indicators? The once I found by default comes with a very fat cloud and makes my chart look messy as fills it up with lines ; I,d like to have the blue narrow ichimoku cloud you all have but I,m unable to load it in my studies settings as it,s not an installer and don,t know how to make this ex4 files work in my MT4 trading account.
Sorry but my computing skills are very limited and was able to make the rest of the THV indicators ready for my MT4 platform because of the THV installer you shared at the beginning of the thread.

If you are not sure how to get to the dialog box that Blaiserboy has posted, this is how to open it.
Open one of your THV charts

Right click on on the dark colour background.
A box will open, left click on Indicators List.
Another box will open
Double left click on Ichimoku Kinko Hyo.
You should then be able to see the same box that Blaiserboy posted.

Thanks for the quick response. You know the problem is the ichimoku cloud I see is not the handy narrow blue one you all see instead of that the cloud is really fat and my chart get messed with lines ; I know the ichimoku I want is in an EX4 file posted several times but I don,t know how to make it work in my MT4 platform as is not an installer and doesn,t set up automatically into my platform as the other indicators did.

As you can already see the settings you must have loaded it correctly. All you need to do now is to open the settings box again and position your cursor on the right hand side of the Tenkan-sen figure which you say is 9, draw the cursor over the figure, it will change to blue, then type in the number 2, repeat this with the other two settings typing in 3 next to Kijun-sen and the 5 next to Senkou Span B
When you have done that click on OK and then click Close on the box that is still on your screen

Sorry to disturb again ... Please digf could you also post the THV4 TRIX MTF settings you have set up in your MT4 account as think have to set them up properly as well in mine.

Sorry but I'm not using that version. I am using THV3 also I don't know how to post a picture of the settings as Blaiserboy did in his post

I am new in this thread . I could not unzip files from post 1 ( after downloading ) . Could anyone help me?
Is there any updated version after post 1 ( after V4)?. If yes, where can I find it ?

Yes, unfortunately it does. I demotrade just to keep my hand in but I'm not comfortable trading setups that I know were tested under different market conditions (i.e full liquidity when all the players are at the party.) China has a lot of bucks these days so I don't trust that the market will behave the same way that I am used to seeing it behave when they are not in it. That's just me though.

I don't trade before and after red and orange events for EURUSD or before and after any Red events for any pair. The reason for that is that if, for example, the UK raises its interest rate unexpectedly then all the selling of dollars in order to buy pounds can weaken the dollar sufficiently to affect the Euro.

I just trail the second lot manually, based on SR.

The only recent change I have made is that I use a tool called the LineManager that I wrote which lets me annotate SR lines and, when compiled, updates them on all my charts. I use it so that when price hits a support or resistance I can know, historically, what that was (for example, a recent weekly swing low, or a daily pinbar.)
