gold has a dt earlier this year. the potential for a new lower one is there. the squares are lows. the squares with arrows are showing LL compared to the box to the immediate left. (the same is true with LH) below the yellow descending line on the bottom is bearish.. below the R arrow box is a stronger bear indication.
just the opposite is true on the bullish side above 1678.55... and even stronger above the white dotted ascending line. we will go to one of these. the lines or levels are the target..on the other side of them is the risk for a bounce. its also the direction to be on if they continue (but a bounce is expected and drawdown can be large so wait for the bounce) .

my guess is gold traditionally goes higher this time of year. do to Asian weddings in India. Plus traditions in gift giving from now through Dec. if this is the case a higher place is in the blue box.. but if those levels +HH are not achieved in the attempt.. we will go lower. we do have indications the high is tired and may be in.. but i am not convinced because of holidays/wedding season. these are large moves. so beware of the bounce... before continuation..... i don't chase.. so i don't trade them w/o a bounce usually.
so if we make a low below the low in the box after crossing the yellow line. a bounce to the blue box (direction) is a time to look. and avoid s if the white line or 1678.55 is crossed. near the risk opposite of the current direction is the better r/r and less risked.
bears missed the last 2 time times to go lower. the next one is before 11am est Monday.. to get below 1595.xx (last low) that would indicate the bear is alive and aware (ready). this would target a LL at 1515.15

dark blue line is a resistance also, adding strength to the level.

I am getting hints my posts are not appropriate and so, as I don't want to turn anybody's stomach upside down along with my deep resentment against any kind of censorship (be it in your face or subtle, imposed or self imposed) I decided my time will be better spent focused on my trading than being on this thread.

Last week, an exodus on open followed by price being bought up through the rest of the week...where and why?

Well, I'ma go like this, take it for what it is worth.

Last week was a China bank holiday and for those of us that have been coming to enjoy trading the TK session found it to be a bit dull this week, well for the most part anyways...but, here's where we are.

Friday, no bank holiday for China, and guess where price bought back up to?

IF we cut out TK Friday session close to TK coming back all hands on deck this Friday, we can see that it is like the entirety of the previous week as far as the Chinese banks are concerned, NEVER HAPPENED....IE the books got filled.

Now, where we closed on Friday, happens to be at the TK yearly lows, but certainly not the bottom of the chart. Where we gunna go from here?

Well, I see's it like this, if this bus is gunna take treck and head to the eventual 200EMA on the H4, which, it has to, I would think that China is gunna wanna load the boat at better prices, so where we gunna go?

Straight fucking down...Why? Well, under the ideas of buying low to sell high, Chino ain't had their chance at the thus far rock bottom pricing of the year, so, I ama guessing, that is exactly what they gunna wanna do. Replay the same week as we had this week and lets just see if the bottom is true bottom...

The 61.8 -> a true and valued support line for the fibo traders and certainly at this point, not an unreasonable target.

Hey, who the fuck knows? This is just how I am reading it...

Winters she works snow patrol and builds a snow cave big enough to party in. Summers on the trail crews sleeping under the stars. She knows them all by name. Happiest person I know.

Riverfront....Im paerterniering with th the Contractor so its Design Build...less fee, but whatever...plus hes done most the work...I really dont care...but yeah....agreed...I cant wait till the homeless have driven out these stupid fuks and are eating off their leftovers....these types are the most clueless to what is really going on and IMO will be the hardest hit.....Actually, Ive come to loathe my profession.....my favorite stuff to do is small biz startup build out / tenant improvement gigs....Y? Because they arent developers and they arent stupid spood fed fuks.....what they are is raw and ingenius and vision filled......I usually cut their fee and dont even care....Y, because they are the best clients. (oh, and the other best clients.....suprisingly, the guy with a fam of 3 that makes $65k a year....if u can get them away from the crap large builders they are the most gracious / pay on time / and one of the best referral services......the worst clients by far,, Developers / Lawyeres / doctors.....I worked in firms where they would not do projects for these 3 groups......) FWIW

OQ.....actually u reminded me of my best client ever.....he is a currency trader....I almost forgot about this dude.....about 5 years ago......I hadt even thought about 4x yet....interesting......guy was super cool....hmmm....

designed an office for him....al glass looked out over the ocean 4 story's up....man...maybe Ill call him up and C if I can trade for him.....LMAO

Look....its ridiculous....its gonna house both of his sets of parents, so there is a purpose, but the reality is its just ridiculous....honestly...It turns mystomach with the foolish excess....I agree with ya though.....my house is simple 1600 SF and quaint...my goal is debt free and from there I dont care if I make $1500 or $15,000 a month....got a bit to go

Usually it was the attorney's dentist's wife tearing me a new one when I was a week late. But that gravy train is long gone. Locally house building is just a sliver of what it was ...

All those architects I used to work for went out of business. Damn I heard of one of them actually had joined the National Guard and got sent to Afghanistan...

Its worse than that....2 years ago....the figure was 75% of arch firms had gone belly up and 50% of the unemployment was attributed to constr related industries....Id say it has been climbing since then....all the architects I know are practicing out of their house (like me) and do everything from the drafting to the filing (like me).... Its a hot mess.... the deal is there is just no demand....ad Y should there be....and if u do find a potential client.... they shop around till they are getting the work for nothing....sory, but I dont do work and open myself up to hundreds of thousands of dollars of liability for $15/hr....(I can trade 4x blindfolded and let my 2 year old hit buy and sell and make about that)

I still work in the industry - the land development end of it - but that is glacially slow, too. I recall during the bubble though, many little places I did projects actually had plenty of vacant housing stock. The 800sf numbers from 1946 - nobody wanted them. Bedrooms too small, hard to find a wall big enough to fit the bigscreen on, etc. Well, I have demo'd many of those little things by hand and ....they don't build em nearly as well today. Maybe people will adjust their means and move back into the little houses their parents built.

Prolly not - we'll be back on the next bubble soon enough.

Yep, it's really all in what my real estate friends used to call "the windows."

One of the most stunning offices I was ever in was on a high floor of 9 West 57 (the building made famous by, among other things, the "Nine West" brand of up-styled women's shoes).

The office was kind of shabby in furnishing, and then you rounded the corner from the reception area, and it was floor to ceiling glass, looking north over Central Park, all the way past the GW bridge. Jaw droppingly beautiful view. Didn't matter you were sitting on vinyl chairs and not leather. All you remembered was the view.
