Bastard needs to stop giving out the secrets to the holy grail! how ye been there ken?

P.s. the one and only absolute truth to these markets... price travels from supply to demand and demand to supply. No ifs and or butts about it! Now, determining where those levels are before hand is the tricky part... and it isnt always absolute.

Good luck with it mang... passion is such a wonderful thing isnt it. Us bastards arent really so bastardy... just got a lot of heart! Things tend to fall in place from that with a good bit of work and dedication...

Oh man good stuff. Ive never been to la... or even the west coast for that matter. Definitely on my to do! Be safe with the traveling, enjoy the holidays... gimmie a reign check on that, and ill be out in a few years once things actually get a bit stable for me!

That is a free drawn line but sort off an average of the normal downward trendlines. It doesnt matter as you need a wave within those trendlines to have those 3-4% majority of traders to make that continuation trend...

There is so many times the normal trendlines break and then the price comes back to the original trend. Normally this is where the rookies have been re-positioned in the wrong trend.

Funny that you said the numbers of pips I got this week even though that wasnt done in one trade...

Had 14 trades this week, averaging 47ish every day so not one single trade...

If you do the same on the other weeks you notice how it would save youre ass when price and trend falls into nowhere land before leaving it up to chance for trades... or horrible whipsawing...

very good analysis as always :-)


I can second your targets out of EW sight (see chart below).

Target is the lower yellow channel line. Maybe we get an overshoot reaching for the 161% fib expansion of wave aqua A to the area of 0.82x.

At this point, I think, we get the decision, if the Euro cracks. When we go below, I am forced to get rid of my long term triangle count and build a new one, where the top at 1.6x marked the very top and we are now in a definitive long term down trend. Then my wave aqua A would be a wave 1 down. The entire impulse of this downtrend would primarily lead to first targets around 0.50

Exciting times. My money is in the USD, the sFr and maybe sometimes in the NOK. Any other sugestions for that?

Well agree the amount of importance many lye in TA is overstated imo, levels is almost all it's about, question is what levels.
Lately I make use of USDX levels in relation to EU helping me a lot.
Others have voodoo methods like Gator for highly interesting levels.
Others use all kind of FIB-levels like yourself (me too a little)
Others use market close/open/high/low levels
All those horizontal levels seem to add...
sorry ub, thought better of it, thought that a few might take offence and seen these types of discussions turn really nasty on other trading forums b4...

at the end of the day it challenges some deep held core beliefs about the nature of technical analysis...

having a chilled saturday, will prolly post some mid to long term analysis a few hours b4 the open tomorrow, maybe we could get into it then if you're about...

and totally agree, it's all about finding those reaction and inflection levels for me, but price action and order flow light the way, modern day tape reading...
