I totally agree with you mate, but do what i do just ignore the posts which piss you off, reply to them nicely if they take the advice good enough if not just dont think about the bastards too much
My normal plan of attack, for sure! But..I have one luxury of being the thread starter... when people don't like something (or, indeed, like something)...they send me a PM. So...although I may choose to ignore, or glance over...a Really fakking Useless post...I get reminded of it through the back door. As the PM count goes up about a certain post, or two...or few...and when the senders start to become some of my favourite people here...it gets difficult to ignore.
I'm not whinge-bagging about the PMs...they're totally necessary. I'm not complaining that I'm the one receiving them (I'm sure there are MANY people here that would do it to keep our Useless shit-shack rolling along.). Again...I love the thread, and it seems the vast majority here do, too. There are plenty of other threads about, here on FF, and other sites, too...where the "scholar" hats must be worn; please...go easy on the smiles...kind of stuff. We wouldn't want anyone to think we were actually having fun while working/earning a living/adding a cherry on top of our other incomes, etc.
Anyway...when in Rome! And when in Vegas!

closed out a good week this week, just need to maintain the standard and consistency. seem to be taking fewer, better trades and staying in them longer, which is encouraging.
no major multi-hundred pip home runs mind, but the batting average is creeping up slowly (touch wood). although that said, I've been here before and managed to feck it right up, hopefully this time i've taken on board a few of the lessons and am a little wiser..
anyways, how about yer good self?

I would question how/what some of your lines drawn from the top left...to bottom right are drawn off, though. The most recent one seems...truly logical, but the two back in time have me scratching my tent...I mean head...I mean...

Well agree the amount of importance many lye in TA is overstated imo, levels is almost all it's about, question is what levels.
Lately I make use of USDX levels in relation to EU helping me a lot.
Others have voodoo methods like Gator for highly interesting levels.
Others use all kind of FIB-levels like yourself (me too a little)
Others use market close/open/high/low levels
All those horizontal levels seem to add to probabilities
More and more I find that lines from diagonal trends up or down are far less predictive as they seem within the timeframe most of us use.
For me EA's are worthless
For me most indicators have little use.
Looking at what I do in my time-frames and within my objectives, I think adding some fundamental thinking adds, listening to most of you guys adds, knowing character of pairs adds, PA-watching adds, psycho-trading adds, contrarian trading adds (in some cases) and I could get on with this list, but I stop as this is a reply to a non existing message
