I kinda thought we'd see usd weaken at the beginning of October for no other reason than October began injection of USD from the Fed to the ECB. Liquidity clogs in the eurozone banking system are being flushed out with greenbacks. Short term carry trade between the central banks. Backdoor QE3. Stockmarket back on the feedbucket.

I have looked through all the porno sites on the 'net to see if I could find out how many and when these boatloads for smack dollars have been hitting the veins in europa but it ain't there, prolly only comes out in the annual audit. Anywho someposeably the mainline is open til Januar so party on. Unless these eurozone junkie banks start turning up blueface dead in the streets then dreams of e/u parity will have to be postponed, i reckon.

heads up on options, courtesy of fl..

Lot of talk in the market about a 1.3400 strike today which is very large (Euro 2 bln) and may dictate trade later into the NF Payroll release

Good post mate.

When CBs and Governments are flooding the market with free money is hard to fight them, even if structural FA and technicals are screaming for the opposite.

However, the repetitive and ineffective abuse of economic policy since 2008 has prostituted monetary and fiscal policy. It is becoming less and less effective and it take only one small macro trigger to erase all the efforts, flushing with it all the money down the drain....shame for the waste of tax payer resources, and shame for the lack of leadership and ideas to solve the real problems. For us traders, is becoming less difficult to read this now and is easier to adapt and ride both sides (the real moves and the free money moves)

well i must be trying too hard, just hit my drawdown limit for the day. every trade entry wrong by one pip. if i didn't know better i'd say its the broker but of course its me. backed off my size to give em lots of room but them uns all sl & reverse to winner, too. all day one step forward and three steps back. had a huge day yesterday and gave it mostly back today. i'd be better off pickin up cans.

scalping mojo needs a break. gla, beware the NFP.

3418 is one 3414 is another so target can be lower
both done.. st bearish,,, risk is the high.. 3375 the target. bounce after is normal.. so weakness in the bounce should be looked for. the closer to risk the better reward. the less risk. my 5m is ripe.. so the bounce may be 40 pips.
