I am going to sell some.. 3348 is a number anyway. 3380s and 90s is bigger.

I have my doubts. IMF, OECD, All major investment banks and everybody else is recommending cut but last inflation number in ECB (overshoot up) will leave the door for Trichet to leave the hot plate for Draghi next month.

Cutting rates will imply a mistake in the hikes this year but more importantly will destroy the so called ECB "independence" on only follow the mandate: control inflation not fiscal stimulus.

The extreme stubbornness of the ECB (Trichet) and recent critics from Germany after the bond buying program could provide also the political support from Germany to leave his legacy intact before the ship sinks....

We'll see, but is a difficult call that is clearly reflecting on the euro since yesterday...nobody want to push outside of the boundaries until the picture is clear...

Piercing line formed by monday/tuesday , doji yesterday - but seems like into tougher territory now for bulls - I see it capped by 440 for now

Well the wave up in play was/is a retrace move not a uptrend. From a TA perspective the last break down last Friday didn't test any of the break out points but now we just completed the test of the last breakout point at 1.340x and we ticked the required box for a potential move down in my books to the untested weekly support 1.311x at least (further break will depend on ECB/NFP combo).

The "problem" TA now is just about timing and not getting burn jumping the gun before this wave up is over. The levels in play are daily and above (weekly break out/monthly rejection of lows/quarterly breakout point) today so all the micro traders can get spanked very bad on the volatility.

Whatever the case, 1,341x is definitively in my charts too...but in my case I am not in a hurry with ECB today so GL mate...

I got 3417 too as a biggy... a close above that is a retest of 3728....

these are bigger TF's than the microguys though obviously.... from a FA standpoint only the Fed launching another round of bond purchasing could really drive price back up there.... I dont expect much hawkish rhetoric from EZ policy makers for awhile(if ever)

Agree bro. BTW, speaking of QE, the fireworks can start on the BOE announcement for the Pound before ECB. Deutsche Bank talks of a 40% increase on QE....
