the bottom had 2 choices.. the higher one was 3387.. im using an old chart.. and 3356.9 is a level on it. w/o going into too much boring crap. its a level below an old mofu..
now i can not predict news or the affects that it had or bb had this week. i got a level on a chart years old.. and i got last weeks and this weeks pa. to go by.. combined they meet at the same place. another place that the summer said we would meet is 3126... and i saw and posted support above and some below it. i even said when we got to 3145 i would watch.. anyway we go where we go..

I don't usually like to show trades, but this one is too perfect, and anyway it wasn't mine.

Some guys are down to do some dove hunting, tomorrow and Friday. Around 1:30 after lunch, I go in to check the market and the news, and my friend Womdat comes along. Just before, EUR has made two runs to the 80's, rejected both times.

Wom: "That's a dead short."
I : "The robot's trading, so, yeah, it'll get short when the market turns."
"Feck the robot. Just short it now."
"You short it."
"I don't trade this forex crap."
"Then trade a future."

He looks at the chart, says, "Put up the future; let me see it." He looks at it, takes out his phone. I say, "Hold it. You going to short that?" "Yeah." "Okay, since I gave you the trade idea, here's the deal. You hold it for 40 ticks against MOC. You get 40, you buy dinner tonight. Less, I buy." "Sh!t, then I'll have to do a two." "Do 200, I don't care. 40 ticks means dinner. And drinks."

"Hmm. Then for sure I better do two. But you didn't give me the trade idea. All you're doing is bounding my gain." He calls it into his office: Sell 2 at 75 or better, buy stop 05, 35 or better OCO. Puts the phone back in his pocket, and says, "Let's go shoot some." (clay pigeons)

Fast forward to 4:30. Just before 2:00, he had taken the call that the short was in. Barely. (Dec futures are basing 4 under spot). We go in and check, and it's trading in the 40's.

"Gee whiz," he says, "looks like it isn't going to make 35. You know of any places that have decent 5 year old anejo tequilas?" We stand there, watching it drag along, 39, 38. Just as he's getting out his phone to call in the cover, bam: drops 5 ticks in 20 seconds, offers 35, 34, 35, and then up. He's out: 40 ticks with one to spare.

He just shakes his head. "Sh!t. Should'a done three."

Have to turn in. Full day tomorrow.
