Market looks dead waiting news. I am aiming to short at the Daily R1 area which is confluenced with Daily EMA10, H4 EMA 50, SMA 35, and Daily R1 Pivot point. I usually enter with market orders but if this is hit during news I may attempt a pending sell order there....

Well with the quarterly you WONT have hundred of pips drawdown guarantee, plus a position trade require low to none leverage. Do you have cash in dollars? can you open a saving in pounds in your country?...do 75% of the position on cash the rest with a small few minimum leveraged lots...
The only two major currencies I don't hold an account in are USD and JPY. I hold a CHF, EUR, GBP and multiple CAD accounts.
Still not sure on that GBP DD, though. Could be a little room to get in lower.
So you are set for any position trade...just the TA missing...well we'll patiently wait....
