Risk (or Risk On) means money is flowing into the market instead of going away. DOW had a sharp recovery implying Risk On sentiment. expect recovery in Asia stock market - at least for the day.

Some currencies such as CAD, AUD, NZD are considered Commodities, RIsk currencies. In cases when commodity prices rise, so will these currencies. When Risk Sentiment is ON, these currencies rises as well. Thus I closed my 2 positions @ BE+5. And then came AUD Retail SAles being very positive. But it didnt push AUD to 0.9600... This does not bode well to...

Yeah, bummer about that +5 close -- I can't tell you how many times I've left a position at small profits only to see it race away...

I'd never heard that term before, but I always keep an eye on the spot DJIA and other commodities indexes, because they track so nicely with the AUD and that of my own home country, the CAD. Also, I have a really clear read on the large-scale Elliot Wave count for the commodities, which doesn't help much on daily fluctuations but helps me to stay on the right side of the trends... Not that I have any idea what the AUD and the DJI's next move is -- up or down?! And I have a bit riding on that small piece of information! I need them to go down.
Channeling profits from the fractal universe.

rankinchopra,
The daily chart is showing signs of possible move up and the M15 shows it has started. Is this a guarantee, NO. However, it is worth watching and then making well considered decisions.
Also rankinchorpra remember, the only money that’s yours is the Equity amount at the bottom left of mt4. All other amounts still belong to the market and they may claim them back.

PA is almost back to your original purchash price and it's decision time, if you haven't already made one. You could either close out the trade hopefully at break even or wait to see if it will now go in your favour but I highly recommend that you protect your trade with an appropriate stop loss. On my charts the next point of resistance is just above your original purchase of .9571

I don't see you currently logged in to this forum, so I hope your not sleeping on this sort of trade unless you have some long range plans in mind.

Thanks peter,
Realized that, I just pulled the last bit of info with his name in it. I was just adding to the info you provided him. Sorry I should have gone back a page or two and quoted his original post.

H4 looks way overbought + divergence and hanging around supply level , I think it will go down in a few hours , small chances for break , but lets see .

AUD strong resistence at 9600-9620, if it breaks i think AUD will have a higher correction to 9740, 9860 and 10000, but on the longer term, it will still down and 9390-9400 is the curcial support to prevent the futhur drop to 9170 then maybe 8950

Closed 1 lot @ 9460. Chicken, I know, but NY after lunch has been brutal latley. Nice to book some profit. Letting the other 2 lots run w/ stops @ 9420.

Regards,

Moved stops on these 2 lots to below .9400, and glad I did. Looking at the 4hr chart, there does not seem to be much resistance until .9700 area. I will look to TP there.

Regards,

Looks like there are some happy bear campers in Wall street for the moment. S&P has risen above 4hr resistance and looking to brake 50% fibo..We may see some chop until or if it does ......GL

My current tagret projections 9610/9680-75 abd 9750ish with good support @ 9510

But must brake 9606 before more up.

AUD/USD .9660

Support at .9480 held and we now look at whats up to contain on the topside..
It seems .9675 there are some to go as price action has stalled but it hasnt backed off.

The skill to being a good FX trader is to identify a pattern ahead of your fellow traders..

I've found one.. There are alot of people getting this wrong..
