I started this thread 2 weeks ago. I'm at the page 1000, i have read MTM and so far my favourite book is HG.pdf (thanks HiddenGap).

I like this thread and all the top star contributors, Malcolm, Dr G, Intel, HG, Sonofsin etc...

VSA is a powerfull tool to "read" the charts. I can't go back to my MACD/Stochastics indicator anymore. I'm just a newbie but i will try to learn from all of you guys.

I have three questions, can somebody help me ?

1) What is a spring bar ? I read this term so many times, but i can't find the meaning of this.

2) What is a churn bar ?

3) Where is Waldo ?...just kidding, where is Malcolm ? I hope he is ok.

Update I got into the long trade where I wanted and was stopped out, was a nice r:R trade. Here is an updated futures chart of the Eur, I dont care to look at a spot fx volume chart anymore since the ticks have been massive and very misleading as of late. Yes you can find some examples of winning VSA trades but for every 1 good trade you can show me I will show you 5 others that were shit.

Hey guys, worked this morning, came home caught a quick 20 pip bull slap. Very similar to the last trade I posted.

If you look at the M15 there is some high volume on a pin, this would be a more dangerous trade if it were during a session open.

This is based on

A) Trend
B) Price structure
C) Squat/ND

I entered on the close of each the marked bars for a quick 24 pips avg.

This is similar to the last couple of charts I've posted as it is with the trend and into the face of some eager beavers.

Quick scalp for +13. First marked bar is selling, followed by two entry bars, I entered on the close and trailed my stop and was taken out at the red line

You've got a real eye for subtly. I guess it helps when you know where you want to see something.

The blue is an M15 lower high and the green is an M15 higher low. Fresh supply and demand in gray, and the daily trend is down.

I was in heavy here and entered again. Spread widened 10 pips during Bernanke and took me out at +1 before going to xx80.

I recorded it but it would be too irritating to edit and upload lol

Lots of volatility today, looking forward to established direction. Just now price found buyers above demand right at M15 low and is now trading below supply right at M15 high

Nice WR no selling pressure in a strong / rising market and a very weak bar. I entered a second long once price took back out the 50% mark of that bar (something I am playing with, not pure VSA)...
