I have however always been jealous of traders that put in a 5% hard stop loss but are looking for retracement(s) or pullback(s) when the trade goes wrong...

Meaning: you might have a 4% in negative before they let you out at a better price around 2-3%... But if it ends up being a full turd they would always have the 5% hard stop loss...

Have to be good at exit though, which no one is...
practice and training your mental discipline, the more times you stick to your hard stop rules, get stopped and make it back on the next trade, the better you condition yourself to stick to your rules...

when pissing, be prepared to stop, (kink r ?) if wind changes direction. you still might get piss on your hands. but at least its not in your face.

Hard working morning in a sluggish session. Dexia in full control this morning. The "L" word (liquidity) for the first time in the table. From Greece, lots of bla bla that everything is perfect?? (Greek Finance Minister is beyond a ridiculous joke and a complete disaster when he talks).

European stock markets clear with only one direction for NY open (next support a few ticks below) while euro with the last 3 break out point untested so it will depend on weak shorts stops running to see how high we can retrace. Here only playing euro shorts with H4 on any test of breakout points and flat across markets for lunch....

depends on how the bastard is moving, and what levels its taken out...I might but a few on based on a 15min close, then add or get out depending where/how the 1hr closes...
