GM all,
In GU price is about to reach H4 35 and H1 35 and 50 MA lines. Would anyone consider to short at this point?

Nice to know I'm not blind I guess. I missed the fill the first time around, and got eaten the second time it came back.

I didn't like how price couldn't stay in positive territory for very long and thought about getting out, but I stayed in thinking "of course as soon as I close it out manually it'll go shooting into profit."

Here's a dilemma that I hope people can address...

See chart number one, no clear trade there, right? This is from the Broker Go Markets, which is on GMT+2.

Now the next chart, different broker, on GMT (PS: London is on GMT+1 atm).
See the two bar retrace short trade?

I was sitting waiting for this... H1 35 and 50, H4 10 and 35, WP, M15 62 and 100...

Then it shot up 12 pips hit the H1 50 and shot down a 100 pips in seconds!!!!!!

There is no answer for that, really. What is the "correct" time zone in a decentralized market? You get the same hassles with pivots, etc.

P.S. For those asking why, you will see that the second bar bounced from 1.5500 and M5 10 and usually GU will retest the low of that long M5 bar.

Just my opinion, but the GMT time zone servers are not as reliable as the the GMT+2 for some indicators such as pivots, etc, because the latter actually line up with the NY Close at end of day. That's probably as close to a "standard" as you'll get.

Yes, if any platform will draw pivot lines based on Sunday evening session, then this is incorrect. Monday's trading day starts with Monday open in Tokio (5pm Sunday evening in NY).

Hm, so I downloaded this mt4 platform which is claimed to be on ny close...

But after installing the mt4 demo I can see that the time is actually gmt +3...
What does this mean?
