The pattern on the weekly USDCAD seems majorly bullish. If Ellioticians are worth some salt, that seems to me to be what some call a diagonal, and others call a bullish wedge. Most of the time, these patterns retrace their entire length as a minimum and if bullish momentum is sustained, it can spark something more. I'm wagering a minimum target (long term) of 1.17. With the caveat that I could be dead wrong. That doesn't bode well for the other commodity pairs AUD, NZD or other high yielders like the ZAR. All of which I am longer term bearish on. Hi Donadoney

1) It's good tht u brought up usd/cad into this thread. Im ok with it. I see opportunity ... tell u what ... I will short it somewhere in between 1.052 - 1.056 to pick up my bids around 1.026 - 1.031 and follow u to 1.17

2) Overheard some street talks tht EUR 211 Billion ( Germany FinMin Schaeuble says ) coming in to EU, so I think I'd better start looking for EU long and close my EU short from 1.3665.

Some fancy stunt might also happen in AU, but thts just me.

3) 2 Aust data and 3 US data due released. Got to go now ... check all techs regarding the abv matters.

Wondering thou ... 9662 or 9226 ... 9500 ? Don't get me wrong ... those are my lottery numbers

Hi there VennD,

Ha, ha, YES the FX-Rocket name is better suited for Long trades

I did have some good trades lateley, but I guess I have been following the trend downwards lately.
I entered a new short at 9728 on Friday and another one today at 9681.
Both for a target of 9540, and the stop at 9723.

You think AU can change his trend this week or at least make a big retracement? I'm asking that because I believe EURUSD will go up this week. Maybe aussie will follow it?

US 10 YR T-Note up by +0.10 ,
