Another bad experience with Alpari uk.
Timeline is below
I deposited on 1 July
Backoffice requested for statement on 1 July even though I have been using that card with them for the last two years
I complied and Sent statement on 3 July
4 July no reply
5 July sent email requesting status of funding and sent an email to [email protected] asking them to look into it as well but up to now, still no reply from Backoffice and Support
Imagine if I need the fund urgently as account facing margin call or see...

You forgot to mention, no matter whether classic or micro acc., that you cheat on new customer right from the start with a demo. The demo doesn't reflect what they get once they open a live acc., bc you feed the demo with datas from ECN pro account.
You forgot also to mention that requotes happen on a daily basis, trade context busy as well and the worst is that you slip every order execution by at least one pip at your favor. .

Speaking from my own experience since years. I stopped trading live there.

Supervising authorities should watch your business model very close IMO

We make no secret of the fact that our demo accounts use our Pro account price feed.
We disclose this information on the FAQ section dedicated to Demo accounts below:

The minimum/typical spread information for Micro and Classic accounts is readily available on our website also:

Re-quotes occur as a result of rapid changes in market prices, and are an inescapable result of the basic laws of Supply and Demand.
On MT4 Micro and Classic accounts, if the maximum deviation is set to zero, it means that the platform will only execute at the exact price on display at that time.
This can be unrealistic in a fast-moving market when the price is constantly changing.
The maximum deviation feature is in place, to be implemented at the client’s discretion, to help reduce the occurrence of re-quotes.
However, there are no re-quotes on Pro accounts.

Trade Context Busy is a user error, and occurs when the server receives numerous messages before it can execute the first order.
If the client is using a hyper-active EA or clicks on the order screen too many times, this error message can appear.

We most certainly do not slip every order as you claim.
Under normal market conditions the overwhelming majority of our customer orders are filled without slippage.
Some slippage is inevitable of course but only occurs under abnormal market conditions, when the liquidity in the market simply does not allow us to fill your orders at the specified level.
It should also be remembered that if your Profit order falls in the Price Gap on Market Opening, positive slippage will be applied, as described in our Terms of Business.

I agree on that ,I was once a client there , and expirienced all sayed
so do you wonder why there is 0 spread ...haha

I dont touch Alpari UK anymore.

i cannot believe this..alpari data screen isnt updating the price..i phone them and the lady says in customer services..i see the problem..

they put me through to technical support and..the lady says our prices are updating..seems to be a problem at yur end..

yet the prices are not changed..screen has froze..wtf

imagine i placed a big trade and wasnt able to place stop..i could blow an account..rediculious and honestly appalled at the way i have been dealt with

price on my chart at 3:21pm

i just changed the server..and data thing on the right and all of a sudden it connects me and data is moving..
alpari deny any problem on there end.if its a problem with my pc then how come changing the server fixes it..

like anything u dont know how good something is till u have a problem..and see how it is dealt with

not good at all..

also getting a lot of requotes almost all the time

Hi, straight to the point:

I am a live client of Alpari with great interest in their constant and relatively low spread on the majors - these two are crucial for me. Yet, what I found out regarding their "checting" is that they feed the demos with data from the Platinum accounts (over 20K) where the spread is almost twice as low as the Classic accounts get.

However! During the GMT mights if you are scalping the preasian market, the platinum low spread somehow becomes not so low and it starts varying so much that you would better switch to a Classic account where the spread for the EUR/USD is constantly 1.6 (first 5 mins of each hour it changes to 2.0 but this is the only exception).

This was my major reason for NOT applying for a Platinum account!

I have a classic account with microlot enabled to i have more flexability, do the platinum acount give interest ..does any1 know?

Requotes are unbelieveble, almost on every trade I do get requotes but funny enough I get the feeling that when I try to place a large trade than small size trades ,these requotes happens more,but there is a problem and I'm seriously changing my account in the near futur, spreads are ok though ,even during the high importance news the spreads stay quite thight.

Could anyone comment on their current experience with Alpari UK regarding re-quotes?

I am interested in opening an account with them, but don't want to get hit with constant re-quotes.

You will need to enable maximum deviation from quoted price so you don't get requoted all the time, I have it set to 30 = 3 pips, so forget the quoted spreads! also I get far too many "invalid price" which again means I have to execute another trade, by which time price is different from my intended entry.

All in all I do not recommend short term trading or scalping, Daily or 4 hour OK.

I have a number of live Alpari accounts Micro and Classic for over 1 year and never had a problem other than I could swear stops were hunted on a few occasions as it just seemed to weird that it comes down to just where I am for no reason takes me out and goes up again. But never can tell.

The only thing to be aware is the 2 lot restriction on the micro which I fell foul of a few times (as I had totally forgotten) and my orders and pending orders kept getting cancelled.

get two accounts, in one short EURUSD using 5000 lots then in other buy 1 lot LONG EURUSD and set the stop under where your 5000 lot positions is, this way when they try to stop out your one lot you will collect big on the 5000 lots lol

If you try to withhold any information or do not provide all the correct information it will be closed. Alpari will keep open a demo account if all the particulars are correct and the account is traded.
