Hay, whatever works.....works - my 5/60 has been ok too. Think we're gonna have to go back to the drawing boards to establish precise rules - or.....we just have to fly by our intuition? Or we must build a super-computer So much fun!

as I was waiting for the 15-240 set up, I kept looking at the smaller TF and each time I see good opportunity, I could not resist. Anyhow profit is profit. lot of fun.

Did you cover the -100 loss back?

please, lets forget whatever feeling we had previously and just move on and listen to what I have to say here:

You accused me of not acknowledging you as a coder, that is not true because all along I have always thanked and always commended the neatness of your coding ability. check your mails and this thread and you will find them.

You said you did an EA for me and I never got back to you, that also is not true, check your PM I got back to you twice telling you that:
1 the EA does not detect HASmtf correctly.
2 that irrespective of the color of HAS it was placing buy/sell/buy/sell continuously.
3 when it closes a trade it immediately re-enters mostly at the peak of retracements.

I waited for couple of weeks and no response and when I reminded you said may be the mail was lost amidst the multiple mails you received.

And after waiting the more, I didnt want you feel I was disturbing you and then you introduced a replacement to HAS I saw it as if you are no longer interested in pursuing the HAS EA so I let it be and gave up on it. and I continued doing BTS manually since then.

You called me a liar even when you don't know me, that I am not a coder, but yes I am, in fact that is my profession, and I have a number of propriety software to show for that. the fact that I have not taken a look at mql4 does not change my profession.

You said I ignore you, that also is not true, how can I ignore you after such a good contribution, and I know what is involved in coding. The fact is I am very focus on getting all about trading around HAS and that really took my attention away from the thread.

MY POINT IS THIS:
My point is I never ignored you and I have great regards for you as a person and for your work, and I say pardon me and my simplicity which sometimes is taken as been proud.

NOW THE GOOD NEWS:
Finally, the good news is that I picked up mql function reference studied it and have a looked into the code in the EA and I suspended HASmtf and plugged in another multi-timeframe indicator that is faster than HASmtf and it is good now. I have tested it for the past two weeks and it is good to go.

I am excited!!!

I am still trying to get my head around this and have learned a ton from all here and the other BTS threads

Here is a pic of S/R on a 4HR TF. I think they are in pretty good spots.

I will then right click on the chart and goto object tab edit the horizontal lines to find the line numbers

Then I go to each of the TF's I am trading on and add the lines

Like here on this 1-15 TF took a nice run up to the red support line then watched to see if it was going to break soon as it didn't I closed out

THIS IS ON A 8 PAIR BASKET

I guess I did and got out already

I was stopped out at +100 on that trade - sorry if I wrote that in a confussing way - I had been up a fair bit more than that but had that much locked. Anyway, haven't bothered to add it all up but it turned out to be another nice day

Have not posted here before, but gained a lot from Kos style. So, just wanted say thanks to Gvc and all the other great contributors.
Good to see Kos back and holding it all together again!

its congratulations to all of us contributors, its not my thread I am just a contributor like any other one who became 'stubborn' at seeing BTS simplified to the level of RED sell and BLUE buy.

I only happened to be the ring leader of the positively stubborn ones and I am glad its paying off now. And it has opened many eyes to how simple it could be, just place an indicator on the offline chart and trade 3, 8, even 14 pairs as if you are trading 1 pairs, enjoying the relative smoothness of the harmonized pairs (basket).

I specially congratulate the coders among us who took us through watching the IA, then excel sheets, then dashboard, then samir indicator, and now offline chart and the EA that can actually trade it.

Whenever I put MTF Has on off line chart computer freezes. I have 8 Mb memory. Cant figure why it happens. I am putting HAS 240 min on 1 hr offline chart.

WOW!! I see the pond scum are still festering vigorously here.

you need the offline charts loaded for it to NOT freeze

for ex.. 1 TF with 15 min Has and 15 TF with 240 Has
You need 1tf 15tf 240tf offlines loaded or it will freeze

Hi, I have a question about the setup of Kos' method.

When I use T101_indy_pricehistory_v3_dnk to generate the offline chart as suggested by Kos, I believe that the chart represents all the 14 pairs. My question is, what if there are 1 or 2 pairs that are to be traded in the reverse direction, e.g. 12 pairs to go Long, and 2 pairs to go short, how do I display such a chart? When I examine the above indy, with my extremely limited knowledge of MQL4, I did not or could not see any handling of reverse pairs in the code. Can anyone please advise me how to go about generating and displaying offline chart representing 14 pairs with 1 or 2 in reverse direction?

I pointed this one out last week, 15-240min, SELL, It just gradually snowballed into a very good one. Imagine 0.10 x 14pairs on this one since last week from the big arrow and an add-on on the small one.
