Dislikeddoes anyone feel that this system is runing too heavy on MT4? I feel mine is. Any solutions?Ignored

I've finally read through all 1500+ pages of this thread, and to anyone out there who is considering reading it all then I suggest you do, or at least until page 1000... everything after that (although helpful 
) is what I would consider optional, or at least for me anyway. To be honest if you get to page 1000, you might as well go the whole way anyway... there's some great stuff throughout this thread!
Basically, what I've discovered about the THV method, which has been often noted by the many veteran traders on this thread, is the necessity of applying one's personality and set of rules to the method. Again, this has been said many times before now, but I believe its important to recongnise that as much as possible. When reading through this thread, I found myself getting the impression from many posters, particular newbies like myself, that this is a "Holy Grail" method of trading, which naturally it is not... or at least not by itself anyway. In order to make this a "near-Holy Grail" method, you would need to apply your own tried and tested method, as well as adopt important fundamental trading principles, such as fibs, trend lines, S/R and so forth. Its so easy to jump into the deep end with this method and get caught out... I know I did once or twice and I'm sure many others did too.
In many respects, THV's relative simplicity is bit of a double edged sword... when used correctly by the experienced its a money maker, but when trader's fail to examine nothing other than the trix then it'll kill your account. Again, I know this has all been said before and to many it is common sense, but its so easy to get caught up in this seemingly easy way to make a quick bit of dosh (or "money" if you prefer

Overall though, if you're patient, analytical, and responsible then this system is fantastic. I've not been trading for very long, but I've gone through many, many systems and I've collected so many indicators (yes, the dreaded indicator hunting!!!), yet I do believe the THV method seems the most effective, at least to my way of trading anyway.
In my opinion, the best thing THV teaches you is to look past the indicators themselves and look at the price action. For me, its taught me much about fibs, S/R etc., and ultimately, helped me to realise that indicators aren't everything. Without such fundamental principles, no system would ever succeed. Anyway, sorry for the long essay... just thought I'd share my thoughts after so many pages of other people's thoughts... seems I should only get my own back sometime
