I'm sure it's better for them to let the buzz and wondering build over a month. I would imagine they said Sept 2011 and knew exactly when they would announce.

"Pay for Limits" is extraordinary.

Either way, it is kind of frustrating to wonder if your trading methods will have to be adjusted...

I actively use a majority of limit orders and take advantage of "Pay for Limits".
If reduced fees are an option, I wonder if ... in the near future...
the commission "payment" for limit orders will be reduced.

MB Trading has taken a bold step this year to increase liquidity.

Unfortunately, many don't recognize the true value; as they are more concerned about
how their outdated MetaTrader operates in an environment it was never designed for.

No, they become a market order when your "price" arrives.

I use stop orders all the time. I understand how they work. Basically I want price to get there and continue on in the same direction.

My understanding of a limit order is that if price gets there then you want price to reverse its direction.

Is that correct?

To each its own, I guess. About 95% of all my trades aren't limit orders, so I can't take advantage of this bonus

Just delete it's data file and watch chart regenerate.

I've tried asking this via the MB chat 3 times but each time the chat window has closed on me once I made it to 2nd in the queue.

In regards to an Equities margin account, are ALL trades made using margin?

For instance, say I have $50k in my account. If I purchase (go long) only $1k worth of stock, am I actually controlling $2k worth ($1k + $1kmargin)?

Is there a difference if I sell (go short) for $1k, rather than go long?

Their server keeps about 2 months of 1min data only. Anyone can help? I only need the historical data for this year.

I hope they increase the payout for "Pay for limits". My current strategy with them can harvest about 100pips from negative commissions per month. Damn I love them so much.

I believe you can download historical data from the customer section of their website.

The image on the website makes it appear that it applies to MT4 only, I'm misinterpreting that, correct?

"COMING IN OCTOBER TO YOUR MBTFX METATRADER ACCOUNT"

Personally I would love a slightly wider spread for no commissions, I hardly ever use limits and I have a tendency to have a lot of trades that move far enough in my favor to set to break even, only to reverse and close out at a net loss due to commission.
