jejeje no they didn't.... boring morning in general. Gap wasn't filled across major stock market in europe setting an untradable compress range at resitance after the opening range.

Euro without reports also stuck in a small intraday range (well I guess a good environment for your trading style) a failure to test above 1.352x in this hour will kill the move for London allowing the US to make the play on the same R and S later...

How does that work Sisse?
Well not necessarily and not always. However, the latest moves since last Thursday has been 100% correlated with risk and therefore with rallies and selloffs in stock markets and not with FA underlyings on the euro or the dollar.

In simple words, today once stock markets stop the rally and without a TA or FA reason for the Euro to move...the range is replicated on the pair. The failure to fill the gap cap the euro to hold intrday S at 1.348x [edit: added this line]

Best thing for my trading style...or, more importantly...my account balance...has been to just stay away from EU for the past few days. Other pairs...namely AU and gold...seemed much clearer. EU just seems to be blowing around in no man's land...until the next headline spikes it one way, or the other.

NYC should...well...could be interesting. If Angie and George would pucker up, it could be a LOT more interesting!

It was the dog that woke me up. I went to bed early last night, 9 pm. thinking to be rested today. So much for that plan... LOL. All good ken. Just went long with a probe. LOL.

You know one thing the 1st time I started looking at daily charts for forex trading was when I added hourly with daily separators ...never went back....

Interesting!

I seem to be getting drawn more and more that direction. My analysis seems sharper...much less "feel" based. And my trades roll much further than if I'm here to "babysit" them all the time.

Anyway...I like all elements of the game, but just found it interesting to hear you say that. One of my favourite chart views!

Im getting more and more away from charts again

I found I was more successful just using numbers, channels, and fundy analysis

Charts( candlesticks and stuff) confuse me.... I know..im retarded.... but u gotta go with what what works...

Is about perspective (and how young you are...) I can't trade fast Tfs in forex like that. I'll lose my edge and energies in the process. I confess myself useless in fast TFs not for the TA part but I don't have what it takes for such quick reactions with the mouse and my brain can't calculate r:r appropriately....

At the end, thats the great thing about trading, there is something for every taste and style....
