a perfect example of why this system is effective. first half of E/U tp at 170 pips, second half more than double that and still going.

PS. thanks for the kind words Astral.

Hello Steve,

a candle is formed according to the price action. It helps to determine the trend.

So you are, who help us to code n choose the better and profitable trading system - without asking for return -

you are not only smart but smarter.

Thanks. I am only the mechanic. The real credit lies with the system developer.

Not that I object to being appreciated.

Cheers.

Hi,

I'm testing this EA and thought to give a little feedback.
For testing purposes I run this EA on all pairs available.
It opened a buy on USD/MXN.
However the Stoch was above 60.
The SL and TP where only about 15 pips away from entry point. (4digit/5digit broker problem?)

I also have an addition I would like to suggest.

Instead of opening 2 trades of 1,5% risk each I would like to open:
1 trade of 3% with a SL of 0,5*ADR (ADR of previous 20 days).
1 pending trade of 3% at openingprice+0,5*ADR.
1 pending trade of 3% at openingprice+1*ADR.

As soon as the 1st pending trade is opened the SL of both trades should move to openingprice.
As soon as the 2nd pending trade is opened the SL of all trades should trail at 0,5*ADR.

If this is hard to do, I’m willing to pay for adjustment of the EA.
In that case, please PM me.

I hope I made the rules clear enough, otherwise please ask me; I’ll try to make clear it up.

Hi Steve,
Had a couple of sell trades that opened when the stochastic was below the 40 level.
I understood the stochastic is supposed to be crossing over while it is still above the 40 level for a sell trade. Please correct me if im wrong.

Thank you Steve and Stumpy for this steady earner. Backtests look good. Only thing is I can't trade gold with it because of 130 error... any fix to this?

Interesting EA, I ran it for 2 days and closed manually for+ 400 pips, but it seems a little erratic as far as TP levels...

Looked like it would get different trades going on at same time confused. Try to use a TP from one trade on a different pair... I saw this more than once, or might not put in a TP at all on some of the 2nd lots trade.

I have to go out of town but will get back in a couple of days. Doesn't look like Steve is watching this thread very often ,

I was running it basically OOTB and I haven't really spent much time figuring it out, but just from first run it deserves more looking into...

Hopefully there will be some more input when I get back...

I have been running it all week and have not had that s/l problem...and its not supposed to put a TP on the 2nd trade. part of the strategy...I have it on 28 pairs in demo account at Liteforex. The only problem I initially had was the invalid stops messages that kept popping up but those eventually went away as trades began opening up...so far so good...up 700 pips floating equity. I backtested on random pairs for past year and broke even or had positive pips. i figured with many pairs and since this is trading Daily TF, this strategy is a good long term winner...

Thanks for the info Tiger... I just started it up again on all pairs, will let run for the week as I will be around for most of it...

Right now I am just using OOTB settings ...will begin to look into them some more..
When I opened the EA's (about 30 minures ago) it took short trades on the eurgbp and usdjpy.

A couple of items here for Steve ...

I am going to attach my trades here to show you what I am talking about on the TP's
( I have each EA with it's own magic number)

Notice how the TP for the #2 trade on the usdjpy is showing a TP level of 0.850 which is obviously incorrect....but is same as trade #1 on the eurgbp...??
No settings altered yet. MBTrading demo acct.

Also of note is on the chart (usdjpy sell) the stoch is already in the oversold area and has been since the 13th.. ( ea was just opened 30 min prior to this screen shot)

I just had a s/l wipe out on gbp/chf but it appeared to happen when I took a look at the 4hr platformon the same pair..... could be just coincidence.( or maybe too much red ned in my system)

Hi fchaman,

Do you use the same OTB settings for H1 or have you modified them?

Thx
