Has anyone has the situation like mine: at 11:12 server time on real-1 server, trading on EUR/USD, my opened position was closed automatically , I have no bot, manually trade, no EA. What's reason might be?

SURPRISE surprise Chris,

Catched a video and not on a VPS. Watch guys when price freeze we don't get ticks. SO what happened here price froze at 1.34 test so until I load my video capture program & put Go markets MT4 on the right monitor that the freeze already gone. BUT all ticks were not in chart already so watch how MT4 catch back later and get missing ticks and lows RIGHT at 1.34 test and it was 5 min chart!!

By the way we got a freeze in first part of the video too!!!

Inserted Video

Second video as SOME DOUBT & say first is CRAPPY video!

Inserted Video

Hope you enjoy the show my post on my blog too:
http://www.forex13.com/2011/09/go-ma...ce-freeze.html

Notice on second video how Go markets try to catch up as 1m candles are so quickly showing tryin to catch second MT4 used to compare! This happaned right after the freeze! not a disconnection because a reconnect always will get you back with last tick first. Watch also I showed I was connected FULLY! Started recording when I noticed freeze.

Let's help Chris with some video showing the CRAPY situation.

So Chris? What wrong again on MY SIDE? Any FIX?

Hi fx13,

I just watched your video and there is an obvious thing to point out which can be seen at 23 seconds in. You were not properly connected to the platform. Look at this image which shows your light green connection, showing it is not fully logged in to my dark green status which shows it was connected:

http://www.gomarketsaus.com/files/63...ion_status.png

I dont know what time you were seeing this, and I dont' know your account number to look at your logs, but that shows that it wasn't the feed frozen but you not being fully connected to us.

I can confirm again that last night there were absolutely no issues at our end.

One thing I will say is that you seem to have had problems with us for months and months, and personally I wouldn't trade with any broker if I had had connection issues for that length of time whomever was at fault.

Thanks,
Chris

EURUSD exec time has increased to around 1.7 sec these two days (from around 400ms) !!

Is the Sydney/Melbourne server getting over crowded?

I m using mammoth VPS and they don't seem to have any network issue. Anyone else have the similar experience?

Hi Chris,

I reported EXACT TIMING when I got this happened:

EURUSD 1.35 then 1.34 FIRST test 22 september. ALSO happened same on FOMC I catched this true later hour ago before post second video.

So for you it's magic disconnect that happen right when moves & orders flow in like yesterday?

Before recording the first video I WAS OVER A min frozen while I checked but didn't record the green signal.

When we are disconnected CHRIS and MT4 connect back what happen check your self we will IMMEDIATLY get LAST TICKS FIRST so price line move exactly to last ticks and start doing that while we usually have a gap in candles that fills later when ticks are requested back from server.

What I have on this video length: 2:04 watch exactly
So let's check my video timeline:

00:35 MT4 get out of freeze state so ticks are back flowing. PRICE LINE is 1.3465 in eurusd and GBPUSD 1.53893 THERE IS no gap this is the price that MT4 is getting So watch the video if you want the time line it's arrount 16:02 you can check and count bars to get EXACTLY when this happened! ( 22 september)

00:42 Now MT4 is connected but watch price in FXCM demo: EURUSD 1.3469 & GBPUSD 1.5384 while go markets shows 1.5396 GU & 1.3476 EU

Inserted Video

0:42-1:00 watch closely prices Go market price playing catch up and don't match FXCM demo usually it's right one pip no more!

00:35 - 1:38 Also since we got connected (I call it we exited freeze) 00:35 we had 4 1min bars in my chart in only 1 min! price was moving faster while price line exactly at last candle drawing it. Price line never jumped and waited for candles to draw. This is the problem as last TICKS LAG and catch back later. This NERVER happen in disconnect AGAIN and again and I challenge you reproduce it with a disconnect.

So if you call this normal disconnect that BY The way was not supposed to happen and most of all this happen only on our side as your support say nothing happened on your side!!

Video shows the freeze problem that everybody talking about that happened last fomc ECB meetins and yesterday 1.34 1.35 eurusd first tests ( grab a chart you will get exact time line! 14:44 for 1.34 test).

PLATEFORM in video was providing WRONG PRICES while connected for half a minute check 00:35-1:00 time line in my video.

There is a serious issue!

And as you can see FXCM demo was running smooth while GO MARKETS was disconnected so my DSL WAS WORKING!

PS: I woke today in asia only to reply to CHRIS!

Ps2: Notice such complain happen mostly at data release and big moves. So my f** ISP choosing FOMC to screw up or ECB decision this is a conspiracy against Go markets! This is the first ISP matching FX calendar for micro-outages! And why FXCM is not impacted? Only again and again GO Markets prerfect plateform and price feed screwed up!

Hi ,

From your email that you posted I could locate your account.
I see that your based in Tunisia which is a long way from our servers.
I can assure you that we had no outage last night but when a surge of data comes through there is a posibility especially if you are running multiple MT4's as you clearly show that one might disconnect or lose the ability to receive data especially if the servers and price feed have to make many hops to your internet service.

It is evident to me after numerous emails and posts going back months that GO Markets Australian service is probably not suitable for your needs. We are in a couple of months adding more servers in Europe to assist with the introduction of our ECN service so hopefully that will help you then if you wish to remain a client.

Thanks

that video was terrible. why did you have to keep fucking around with the window positions and whatnot? perhaps your recording software only lets you record a section of your screen, but IF it can record a larger area you would have been far far far better off simply having one chart on the go mt4 visible and the exact same chart (and timeframe) visible in the fxcm mt4. would have made things far clearer instead of trying to understand what you are trying to show via your constant jumping around and moving shit.

apart from the obvious disconnect visible by the mt4 connection icon showing as such, i don't know what else was meant to be understood by that video. but, maybe it's just me.

that said.... why don't you open a small account with fxcm and trade through them for awhile since their demo account at least treated you well during the recording?

i haven't really paid a great amount of attention to who has been saying what here, but it appears to me that it can't be more than 20 forexfactory members who have an issue with connections to go. something is simply fucked-up for some reason causing the mt4 performance to suck major ass.

now, i'm not sure how international network traffic gets handled once it reaches aus, but i would have thought that anyone connecting to go from outside of aus would have been hitting the same network lines within australia... but for the number of international customers who are mentioning issues in this thread versus the total number of international customers i would imagine go has on their books it seems that it's still only a small portion of international customers just like the seemingly small number of local customers who are having issues.

or to put it another way... i always suspected it was some part of our shitty aus network system that had some piece that was flawed and screwing it up for some of us. but IF international traffic flows along the same route to go's servers and seeing that it seems only a small number of international customers are having issues it therefore negates my theory that there's a shitty piece of cable buried somewhere in aus that is creating issues for us. if that was the case then i would have expected all international traffic to go to be affected, which doesn't appear (to me) to be the case.

it'd be interesting to know how much customer traffic there was on monday versus the rest of the week, since monday was actually sexy and then mt4 performance to go has gone to crap again after monday as evidenced by the anecdotal posts this week here.

I was a happy bunny until last night (downunder). Execution was slow and adjusting orders was the same. I would close down the platform and restart it to get my adjustment to go through. The week started off great but has gone downhill since which seems to be in line with the posts on this thread.

They will be trade servers to assist the northern hemisphere clients.
We are in final talks with some well known liquidity partners that will be disclosed when completed. The trade servers for these banks / brokers are all in Europe so it makes sense to have servers as close to the core as possible which should reduce latency to an absolute minimum.

We will keep you posted but this is a more important development than MT5 hence this will occur before MT5 live is launched.

Thanks

1. Recording a FULL HD screen is almost crazy as when posting on youtube you will see NOTHING.

2. Chris and support said right above nothing happened as you can see video seems there is issues.

3. I got issues previously but didn't complain AUTOMATICLY in Forexfactory neither think that ALL Go customers are members or use this thread. Many I know moved away and all their customers but no more complaining here. So few complains doesn't mean the problem not wide spread. Watch when Go markets failed to open month's ago as their firewall blocked us and count the number complains. few posts WHILE ALL custmers were kicked OUT. So your point about number of post compared to all go customers is meaning less.

4. Did you tried to put video full screen and watch carefull second by second Metatrader. Do you think that a disconnect cause MT4 to draw 4 x 1min candles in 30s? Watch the time line I pointed. And this happen often MT4 freeze then speed up trying to catch. There is a SERIOUS Problem when there is many ticks and Go markets knowledged this as a problem previously and said they will fix it with currenex as too many tick clog the pipes.

5. FXCM is CRAP on live thanks to their positive F*** slippage.

6. So if Go markets problem only happen to international customers why VPS owners in Aus too complaining... Or Why Go markets serving international if it's so crappy over international lines.

7. happy for you that you don't have a problem. Yes monday was great and fast for me too and got me hoping that we will have a perfect week until Freezing got worse!

8. On FOMC I clicked an order to close at 1.3713 short. Order window opened ( I was connected ) but price frozen I clicked to close 13 it took a while then I back check and saw order closed at 1.3743 ! I complained to support NEVER got a reply. IF I saw the exact price 43 I would changed immediatly my decision but GO markets freezing took me off guard.

I made those video's quickly no planning so I see that all replies I get is doubt. You some time I say let Go markets sink with their problem and best step to do is shutting up so customers go away fed up like me currently. But I'm trying here to get Chris on foot to fix this IMMEDIATLY not next month's or year like he is saying in his last statement. And why do you think that Go markets think they can improve their platform becauee they know servers in australia have some hidden issues they are unable to fix and this related either to international bandwith or some wired stuff there!
