Agreed. I will post a chart later as not at a cpu with my preferred feed, but I will likely be demoing a long retrace entry at .892x with stop at .874x on USDCHF. This area has the type of confluence that I like in retrace entries (ppz with bar highs/lows and jarroo's lcs/hcr levels lining up). Trade will be demo as I haven't developed the sample size and as clear of a set of rules as I need for retrace entries to start trading them live.

The chart looked very heavy to me as we put in some major lower highs. Then where we were looking price was sitting on this area but not getting higher at all. Eventually you knock up on an area it tends to give. Then notice it pulled back to this area before springing way lower. The BRN is now the key. We also have a nice area to watch on a pullback too

Hello,

I have been trading forex for 3 years. I came to this thread when I joined but then I quickly got sucked into the "Trading Systems" section and all the downfall begin. I blew up 3 accounts. Made $$$$ only to lose $$$$ all of them and some more.

Now I am here and my goal now is to stay with this method for 6 months and then see the results.

I am only planning to trade the daily timeframe in demo mode for 3 months only trading PA at SR.

Sticking to this thread and Creating a trading plan is my goal right now.

I will update when i can

Ive been stung a few times (EUR - AUD) but I think the thing with retrace trades is that with patience and taking the best ones they are golden. For me, entering on HTF PA are the best but harder as I have to wait.

Its a pity that some of the others want to disrespect you and the great working at FF.

Hey all

So this OB looks good to me, it looks good even on daily and weekly shows good space till 100.00. Only thing bothers me is its NOT at swing high, so playing it like a break out i guess.

Any comments welcome

Here's a couple to watch. Support to Resistance. Some great bearish PA would be nice to confirm these levels . .even on the lower TFs . . .

hello james16 i have been studying the what u have been writing since 2005 , it has been a lot of study since last week.... neeed ur email address and to want to hear more from a great mentor like you.. i am in the middle of your whole thing of price action , fib, dbhlc,beo... with a pen and a notebook .. need ur email adrress....

So here's my chart. Contiuation BUOB, would have preferred a close above 9000, but I am considering 8996 close enough considering the size/close of the bar and the strong confluence in the area. I have 2 entries....the demo retrace to the strong PPZ in line with LCS/HCR levels and previous bar highs and bar lows - all within 8 pips of each other. Stop goes on opposite end of bar, and would be reduced quickly if it triggers. This isn't a deep retrace, but there is a lot of confluence so I don't anticipate it much retracement.

Second entry is a break of the BUOB - entry +10p of bar high, with s/l at same place. Will reduce stop quickly to about .8910 if entry triggers. I think this is a strong level and once .9000 is breached I see room to move. I believe in the level to the degree that it wouldn't surprise me to se .9000 broken and hold without triggering the retrace entry. I have trouble areas at 9120 and just short of 9200.

Anyway, that's how I see it. Will update results

You don't need J16's email address, you need to post charts of your setups and ask questions, in this thread.

Since you have studied this methodology since 2005, you should already be pretty good at it. Look forward to seeing your charts.

thanks for the answer pinbar i have also refferred your links of J16 terminology but i am in between of the thread thats i have to study all the threads and i am filtering the ones that i dont want... i want to learn price action setup .... and inside bar and the strategies many known to me and some more want to know .. knowledge never ends.... any particular thread or post on this ....

I think everyone lurks for a while, but, we really need to get more opinions about our way of thinking and show our perception of what we know or think we know. In my personal experience, this constantly changes and we need to balance the scales by dialogue and getting more pieces of the puzzle put, in the right places & put the odd pieces from another puzzle, back in the bag.

I did a double take on this pinbar - nice wick, good close, so-so location. Interesting how price reacted almost to the pip of Jaroo's LCS back from March. In the end though this pin looks to me like a pause before going up.

I like the pin possibly to the 1.2500 area (HCR) - the area I'm currently going to watch PA for long entry.
Pin never broke so no chance for long entry at 1.2500 area. 1.2840 looks like it could give a nice bounce. Zooming out is interesting look at this ppz.

I post as often as I can when I see Opportunityisnowhere.
Without Posting a Statement, I say...
I Actually do Trade Real & that takes some time away from reading/posting.
During that time I have higher priorities...
Perhaps we can modify the thread to accommodate that.

Not sure how we set that up but perhaps the way to go would be to list confirmed (successfull) Real Money Trader's as Seniors.
