long term.. i don't c it. 2873 is needed. i took the extremes. but even w/o them we go much lower.

Long term dollar mate doesn't necessarily mean euro is going to boom. Wait for the economy start ticking up for a quarter or at least for economic recession risk to clear and you will see the dollar crosses booming. I am still waiting for the position play we have been talking about in the pound to 2.0xx (by years end/early next year)...For now as I mentioned before all risk so lets buy dollars.

CUT your loses and Always Put SL
I never do that to my trade since years and it WORK
Sometime add to lose position and most of time mental SL
If you know what u r doing then Put your own Rules

Now that they've ruined the bond market for a while (who's going to short a market where a CB has said they'll buy all the outstanding, and the higher the price the better?) it might be time to think about an EUR position again.

That language in the Moody's statement, and the 3-dissents in the Fed minutes hasn't sunk in fully yet. Things are just a little bit different.

Don't understand what is your point mate. We have been agreeing most of time the last few week in the macro direction of the euro.

Short term downtrend? well yes we agree since the first week of September. Long term trend? yes we are about to confirm monthly and quarterly reversal next week. 1.331x/1.329x next major level, we agree too on that one. The end of the world? ...well not yet.

In any case, ES barely hold last breakout point & daily S. DAX futures after-hours closed exactly 2 ticks away from the cliff (interesting open tomorrow). Gold "chopping around" and Oil holding daily S.

Do you have any view on copper/AUD? HG is below 3.70, and there was little if anything to address aggregate demand in the Fed statement, and, as I alluded to above, what Moody's said in the BAC downgrade was the first time I can recall seeing anything semi-official that even implied that a systemically important bank could possibly be allowed to be liquidated.

Interested in your view.

Obviously bailed on the "glorious" Aussie setup, too...no damage, though. Will look to reload going long at some point here. No rush...will let the markets digest and just try and find another base.
