Wow!! touch trades on Eu worked like magic. I entered long at 1.3650 and already 25 pips up.

you just entered at the RN? there wasnt an MA touch near.
not a dance/choros trade really.

I don't think taking that trade was by the rule. Touch doesn't exist in flat MA.

Yeah if i remember correctly taking touches at RN is valid.

On the charts, I saw Clay just took whether single line to trade and usually win. This seems completely impossible to achieve.

GU, GJ and EJ 15M MA are becoming steep and parallel. But not so the H1. We might start getting good setups latter.

I tried to do the same thing, but usually failed.... even in hindsight, I can't see an edge in doing so.. (to be honest)

Why don't you stop taking trades that haven't been working for you even though some people say it works, if touch don't work for you it won't work no matter how many times you try. Keep trying something else until you find one that work consistently, if it doesn't work you can't force it to work.

i wont keep this up much longer, but i will comment on that post above.
in the example you have above i dont think even Clay would call it a pure Dance trade, rather a price action one.
MY take on HIS post is that: he wanted to enter ANYWAY in the direction of the recent trend, that is to follow the M15 10 going down.
his entry was not good, trading contra the pin is not a good idea. but his justification is that the RN was recentrly broken, and the pin didnt close above the RN, and lastly that the M15 10 was close by and his SL would be above the recent low at the left. for me it was a 50/50 call as the long wicks of the pin and the previous bar would imply resistance lower. but he made up his mind, entered with A PLAN and thats the story for me.

in order to stop the dispute if a trade off the RN ALONE is a choros/dance trade i will say 2 things.
1. Clay did take a lot of trades that didnt fit in the manual. he trades a lot by feel and he created the Dance to put his "feel" in some formula.
2. for me the dance trades are 3, the Touch, the Constrainment, and the Bounce of which i think more of something like in between the first two.

and as a last word, just keep in mind that the last month its a shitty market we are trying to trade. Dance/Choros is not created for this short of market conditions and very few days are clear (and even them are usualy clouded by unscheduled news).

lately i come to think that, more important than knowing How to trade is to know WHEN to trade.

anyway, these are just my thoughts and i hope i dont cause more dispute and trouble. i have no grudge with anyone.

Just now there was some USD news about 20 min ago and I committed a cardinal sin by staying in a trade(GBPUSD) during the news..... Lucky me again I managed to come out at BE. I have to be more careful next time because it was close to taking out my SL for a full lost
