been with oanda for almost 5 years. No complaints. All deposits and withdrawals are processed on a timely basis. Been happy with their trading platform (fxtrade) 95% of the time.

But now i'm at a decision point of whether i should stick with them due to my account size. Anybody has an account with oanda in excess of 50k? Do any of you experience any lag when trading more than 10 lots?

I've been with oanda about a year now. Vary helpful support vary nice and easy going people to talk to. A few things to note spreads are good 99% of the time, news is probably not a good time to trade, java platform almost never lags. Deposit/withdrawal are seamless with paypal.

Hmm nothing else to add at this point I recommend them 100%.

Go to Account -> Full Transaction history. Or you can have historical trades shown on charts.
I found a penny today. That's +100 pips for me.
Did someone with a SL on any chf-position get stopped out on their " invalid pricing data"?

They removed my profit after buying the bottom of that "spike" so if anyone got stopped out, you shouldn't be withdrawn from that loss.

I got stopped out with a huge spike on VantageFX , It looks like all brokers can have there cake AND eat it .....

Also it seems I will not be satisfied with they software until they want to sell they API. I think that is the reason why they make so imcomplete, user unfriendly software: both the Java desktop, but the Android, iPhone I have tested: serious leak of basic feature:

They do provide API access (practically every real bröker does), but you need 200k deposit to get it which is completely outrageous.

200K? It costs $600 one-time fee, and the $600/Month with volume discounts. Its free if you do 10 million per month.

Oops, I confused Oanda with Dulascopy. lol

You're right. It's $600, and then you get discounts. If your monthly volume is high enough, the discounts can actually cancel the entire $600 fee so the API would be practically free.

With MB Trading I have tried, but I couldn't open an account, the same with Ducascopy: Paper paper more paper, and after 3 month I give up the process.
IMHO it should be max a mail, download something, send some valid pof of who you are and found the account, but this 2 company...

delatastock as I have seen it had very bad reviews, now I see the Ducascopy is started to requote they clients. It was a Vladimir of who at customer service, it was horible...

Also I have searched in other way how many employes are at Oanda at software implementations, because it is undeclared, confident? At is seems isn't a full army: around 10, but 20 max (I mean those who write code).

And at business model: if they want to earn money for using they API, until they will not improve they basic platform and it will keep basic, very basic.. I am wondering they allowed even the the MT4 too. A few years ago it was 1000 usd/ month, not it is 600 usd. But I don't understand who is buying that API?

You most make at least 6,000 constantly to pay 600 constantly, just for API.
To earn 6,000 you should have at least 100,000 in account. If you have that money, than why bother with Oanda and don't go to an ECN broker?

If Oanda has over 100 million usd capital for trading, it would be an imaginable-horrible big waste of the money to outsource the platforms creation / improvement for 100-200k? -of couse, let's buy the API the customers, who want a normal software and develop as they want each of them !

- I am to silly to understand they, and maybe is better for me too, to not be in software developer team

The norm when registering with brökers is: proof of identity + proof of address. That's usually it.

You may be required to print and sign the registration agreement, but this is seldom the case since clicking "I agree" is already considered a signature. If you use a credit card, they may require a scan of it to prove it's yours, but this is also rare. Overall registering should take a few days at most. If it doesn't, then you should request an explanation from the bröker as to why it's taking so long, i.e. what is special about your case?

Heh, and what known bröker doesn't have "very bad reviews" out there on the net? As long as there are people who lose money, you will always find such reviews. It's human nature. That's why I say online bröker reviews and reviewing sites are not trustworthy (and this includes positive reviews). Besides, I personally know for a fact that brökers (or shall I say bröker reps) are involved in writing reviews about themselves and about other brökers online. Don't trust a review unless you actually know the author.

As for this bröker, I never tried it myself. I just know someone who seems happy with them. So the only way to know is to try them for yourself. Looks like an interesting offering nevertheless (the ECN account that is), especially the "selecting your liquidity provider" feature, plus of course the free API.

- not sure now, because it was like a year or more. Why with Oanda I could finish in a few day and with this ones not even in 3 months? With Oanada I have live accounct... idk but 2 or 3 years or more.- I wanted to check exactly from when I have opened the live account, but I made a migration to Oanda Eu, and it seems I can't see the US data, which doesn't matter much any more.

Yes usually, and sometimes they want to know about my income, from where I made it. The last workplace, and if I am self-employed or CEO (bot case applies on me) , than they want the before this workplace data, that company address, shared capital and such. I can't see any reason to give them.

Usually it is required to sign, no problem, it is expected.
for example iForex ask for both part of the Visa card, in this case they has the security number too : just to use it at as they how it want at any transaction, where no creditcard is present: all online billing, for online services for eg.

When it is an 1 or 2 row review or only negatives, that review doesn't count for me.

mine hasn't been reinstated yet (i had an eurchf long position). anybody else out there??
Oanda called this an 'invalid pricing data', so i expect they'll reinstate ALL affected trades as if nothing happened.

Doesn't Oanda offer managed account anymore? I only find it when I google it, not any link for it on their homepage.
