Supposedly there is a statement imminent regarding the talks with the Greek officials. If it doesn't come by the time of the NY close in 40 min, I probably wouldn't want to be long.

EUR Pop Ahead Of Statement
We’re waiting for a statement from Greece following today’s teleconference. Early speculation is that another meeting has been scheduled — ergo, there was no agreement today.
EUR/USD just popped 15 pips so maybe the feeling is that the news will be good. These next headlines will be big. The only timeline we have is “shortly.”

FWIW, and today, it's not much, bonds just managed to put together three up 1M bars for 4 ticks (1/8 point) for the first time in many hours.

EDIT: Followed by a red one while I was typing. Bonds ain't telling us much until the FOMC party is over.

Just checking in to see what is shaking, and managing some of my orders of course.

Mr H, FL is about as usefull as a chocolate teacup. You really think that if those guys were so glued in they would post their "insight" info freely for all to see???? Of course not, they would sell the wife, mortgage the mistress, rent out the farm, enslave the kids and go all in and be millionaires inside a week........

FL and ZH are two dimes a dozen, absolutely worthless.

Yeah, they are all seeing what kind of "twist" they come up with. Lengthening the terms makes perfect sense and I for one am fully expecting it, as are probably most traders....

Its annoying this Greek talks. Boring bla bla mate. The agree to keep the bla bla next week... So same playing field.

I insist that Greece need a new PR team as part of the package.

Blogosphere. Certainly wouldn't call either worthless. Often have news up before mainstream sources (Bloomy, Reuters etc) have had a chance to have stories cross an editor's desk. Can hurt the reliability at times...but even Bloomberg will have to "re-write/update" their articles five/six times.

Forex Live's "trade" calls? Wouldn't touch them with Berlusconi's todger, but for rapid headlines...why the hell not? Price is right. I subscribe to Ransquawk, so hear a lot of stuff sooner, but all in all...they're pretty quick.

ZH? Not in the same category at ALL as FL...other than "blogosphere." Completely different thing all together.

Report: Good Progress Made In Teleconference
Reuters is citing a Troika source saying good progress was made in the teleconference and that technical discussions will continue in Athens in the coming days.
Sounds like business as usual. Aid not approved yet but talks are progressing.
Update: Greece’s finance minister is now saying there was satisfactory progress in the meetings and that Troika heads will meet early next week. Sounds like the Greek news agency report was bunk, or misinterpreted.

So, that's what they hand out to me. Not doing any harm to my account. I don't see your problem with them, Cloggie. I'd usually rather mistrust a huge company way more than three or four former bankers/traders, who work with what they got.

I'm confused about your dislike about them, though I understand your implication. Then again, why are you helping the community again?
