tbh, to me it looks like if we dont get a close above 5790.4 on daily, there is more downside to it than upside.

its all part of a new Turkish doctrine thats has been effect as of late, they are aiming at become a new force on the world geopolitical stage, and with there strategic location, should be a cake walk...

right, taken what I could out of EU today,
need to sort out some stuff so be back later on sometime,
would be watching same levels as posted earlier today.. got some orders set near 3770. if it decides to get there while i am away.

To be honest I think the Turkish position has been not bad at all lately. Is good to have somebody with "opinion", action and arguments on the other side of the equation.

On the economic/political side they have been screwed by the EU on all the mumbojumbo of EU candidate/reforms spiral and they didn't get anything in return as they will never/ever will stand a chance in a Christian club. You can't say that out loud as is not political correct in Europe but is the only reason will never be accepted in the EU.

Now they are playing a bigger role, taking the trade advantages from Europe but profiting (or trying to) from the geographical location + energy + Russia + flirting with joining the Brics + the security sphere on their leverage in the Middle East being the only serious country with influence in that region.

In the particular case of Turkey IMO they are getting better bang for the buck finding their own ways (politics and economics) than being a puppet of the "west".

In any case, poor macro number keep coming. German economic sentiment at a month before Lehman levels....
