[15:11 EUR/USD: Iran War Games Add to USD Jitters] Boston, March 30. Iran says it will launch war games in the Persian Gulf tomorrow to test defensive readiness. Dealers are eyeing the games with some suspicion given Iran"s rejection UN Security Council demands to stop uranium enrichment. Iran has threatened recently to block oil shipments through the Straits of Hormuz if sanction ed by the UNSC. Today"s big jump in gold is rumored to have been lead by Iranian buying as well, raising eyebrows. EUR/USD trades just below session highs, now at 1.2144. Jitters over a potential "weak USD policy" from the US is helping weigh on the greenback.

I may have missunderstood and if I did please clarify but if you are suggesting that I should be a "Player" Trading the AUD just because it's there and not watching the Quotes then I wish you luck in your future endeavours.

I agree that you have the potential to grab some pips, perhaps you already have and if so, I'm happy for you. Personally, I would rather Sell the Rallies like the one happenning right now. So maybe it's time to be a "Player" on the AUD. Just gotta watch the quotes a little longer.

btw. I'm a Quote Watcher on most of the pairs that I am not already a Player.

Well, my usd/cad short hit +100 target, my aud/usd long went well (+80), I added a new a/u long, had some other good trades, pips flowing in like never before... and then my mt4 demo account crashed Ah well, tomorrow will be a new day with a fresh new account..

I see short on the euro/jpy .I am just moving the significance of the 1st fib to 2nd as the euro is so upstanding acroos the board.
Entry will be on a clear break of the hourly tunnel.
Also isee the aussie working to the daily tunnel.
Strange pinch acrooss the currencies, gbp/yen sitting right in the middle of the tunnels.

Technically you have it right but i am deciciding to bring the importance of the 1st fib up a noth due to the daily candle and the relative position of the euro with its other pairs.
Just running with and observation......?

Let me know how you make out . I am still Involved long AUD/USD up about 90pips open another lot fri afternoon @ .7159 + 12 pips on that , looking to raise my stop to B/E on that position. Let me know your status today..
Anyone looking at eurgpb? May be in the process of bouncing down off the target Fib 1 on the D1.
Take a look at EUR/AUD. It has recently touched the extreme 610 fib two times and this Friday there was a nice reversal pattern on the daily. So today I decided to wait a couple of hours after market opening to see how things evolved. The price quickly moved down over 100 pips from the days opening. So there we had the first and second scenario (as described in VWB II) covered. This was more than enough for me to go short with 3 lots. Now its going to be very intereseting to see how this continues.

Market looks crazy from last week..getting confused signals all over..stayed completely out of market for couple of days. My style is to stay out when you are not clear about the market direction. Swami, you are right

Wat risk modle are you useing with the EUR/AUD havent come across that pair in the vegas docs . One more thing wat range is used with that pair . If you dont mine , Thanks much kalle7
notice that the weekly momentum has increased from last week avg by 45 b.p. this is the reason aussie long are frustrated by the aud/usd dancing around the price levels of .7140 / .71 82 until we see weekly momentum starting to favor the bullish side of this trade . I won t be adding to my long positions got stoped out of the .7159 entry that I initiated on friday afternoon in which I raised my stops to B/E after the spike too the .7172 level. Im using risk model #3 because its pretty volatile. About range I dont know I havent yet calculated it.

EURCAD if anyone is interseted risk model 2 and the 2nd fib on the EUR CAD looks very interesting.Just broke major resistance at 1.4200.

For those of you who have built XL sheets that require Daily input of prices and/or Historical Data, here are two sites that may help you.

For current Dealing Rates that are Copy/Paste compatable to XL {Just copy the numbers, no headers or frames}
If someone could write an XL Macro to, GoTo, Copy Area, Back to XL, Select Cell, Paste, Select Cell... for this one it would be a great asset.
Just Click Button "Update"
*Note. I think it would also require a second instance of the Pasted Numbers to be in a "Sorted by Pair" to allow the Calculations page to "Lookup" EUR/USD etc and return Current Prices.
Or include it in the Macro*

For Historical Data back 10,000 bars {up to monthly. That's >800 years so I'm guessing the market might've been kinda thin back then :lol: as for the EUR, it has a shorter History. Only goes back as long as it has been in existance. Go figure.
