Mainstream media is now reporting the supervisor's name. It is John Hughes. I was not going to be the one to "out" him, but as the cat is out of the bag now, may as well confirm it.

This is also now reported in mainstream media, it is Delta desk, run out of ZRH with traders in London, this is the equity desk as I said this morning, not the FX desk.

I only got the area between your 2 last levels...meat of move up is gone now in the euro...stock market still have quite a decent range for resistance so looking for a play in the ES after reports...

i was tempted to short .. at the high with a stop just above 3948 and tempted to long at 3872... id wait for 3841 min... na..... i will just keep the other pairs and play them by ear.. letting eu settle till i c a good one. nothing has changed.. and this move just makes e products cost more.

This was exactly what Senator Coburn told him not to do a couple weeks ago. But I guess they figured if the choice was between getting reamed out and losing the European banks, there was no real choice.

I referred to the USD liquidity crisis a couple times over the last couple days, latest last night. I really didn't think the FED would do it. It's a good thing he waited until after the House vote on the ceiling.

Didn't get stopped, but only because of the point picked on the 2-wk roller coaster, and because I was (and still am) betting on about 3 handles on the position.

gold... 1665.40 is indicated... oil... trying to break higher atm....saving Europe puts the u.s. in a recession. from higher oil cost.

Europe isn't saved, IMO. Just because the one entity in the world that doesn't use credit risk management will counterparty with zombies still doesn't do much for solvency.

And now, I think, for the first time, the actions of the CB's is going to become an (understandable) center-stage political issue. Fox News is going to be the bellwether of that.

atm the euro has to make a higher high... or bears come back at/below 3852...3841 3820 even better..............longer term an asprin does not cure the illness. look for a reversal candle formation before 3936
