Hi sisse!

What do you make of the "BRICs" release? I just find it Western World Hopium, really. The release is from Brazil. How much are they...on their own...going to invest? India? They playing, too? Is Brazil speaking for everyone in the BRICs...which, also...Brazil, Russia, India and China are not the only members in the gang.

Western "fluff" to me so far.

You're right...definitely "talk" so far if the quoted source is referred to as "the person!" And under anonymity, too, I would assume?

Well. EZ countries using all the leverage in their arsenal (and is not small obviously) to avoid contagion/domino when Greek default is announced.

The EZ/EU is still the second biggest economic block (and not that far from the US) in the world so politics, economics, trade, energy, and even arms and security issues still can twist some arms across the globe.

On the BRICs, they are pissed off (with all reason) in this non declared "currency war". All the big players (UK, US, Japan, etc) are aggressively playing with monetary policy while the BRICs are starting to pay the price as collateral damage (appreciation of their currencies, etc) in the process.

So obviously is not in their interest (anybody interest) to let the EZ collapse and let them even more naked against the dollar. So lots of bla, bla, bla but I take it as PR to support the EZ in the event of a crisis. To what extend they will do something in practice? ...not sure. Probably short term they will join all pulling to save the boat (US and UK included) but if things get nasty they will run fast to cover their asses in the US and China.

That's why I don't really like the release being flown under the "BRICs" flag. <-- wait...do they have one yet?

It would actually be a bit of a "new" flag if they were going to buy together...as a BRIC "entity." But is that what is actually happening here? Or is some spotty-faced, "western world" financial "journalist" clutching at something that really isn't very official at all?

Forgive my pessimism...and use of "quoties" above. Just curious for some actual facts and figures....particularly Brazil and India.

Sarco and Merkel are on phone conf with G.Papa ..today [now]

yesterday I saw a headline that, that conf is going to be the "LAST ONE" between Berlin and Athens... well, you draw your own conclusions. but as for me, im seeing market is ready for a greek default... it is a matter of hours or days...

today, maybe early next week ??? dont know.. everything we are seeing is just a maintenece, counting collaterals..

Interesting at the pub last night here in "Canada."

One of the televisions was showing that looping "get your news fast" bullet point...text driven...news. Recession Expected in Canada In the Coming Months...flashed over. The whole place stopped. I felt a LOT of "double-income" home owners mildly shit themselves. No word of a lie...that was probably the last pint of the night for 20-30% of the patrons...and the talking point for the next hour, or so, for those that remained.

Like my physical even more this morning.

3746 looks like a prime area to sh.....thing is the consolidation right below here.....on the surface it looks like a sweet spot for a sh....but my spidey sense is tingling.....Part of that is due to the 38 area above....Ill wait....Lets C

Sadly those are always the one that propel the moves when a bubble burst (fresh examples all over the place around the world since 2008)....

Hopefully it wont happen...well at least for us that is not a problem we just short the hell out of it ( don't say it out loud that politicians, especially in the US, may ban us for trading....)

Offcourse bad data meant more chances of QE3 so dollar bearish but market every time seems forget that for the first few mins for Bastards to get in.

I can't be overly bullish atm. No close above 3733.5 on the hourly yet, no single-candle cross etc. I have one eyeball on 3787, though.
