I'm glad you have a positive trade locked in. I would have never taken that trade, however, because the CZ has already been "used and abused". Good one for you though.

One solid trade for the day. I pulled out when I felt price was going to retrace. Banked a few pips can't complain.

No, they are not default, but I didn't post them here because everyone will use different levels depending on their trading goals. Some may only use just the first level, some will use 4 or 5 levels, everyone is different. My levels are listed below but I highly suggest that you experiment and find the levels that work best for you.

Posting up my first CZ for tonight. GBPUSD M5

I realize this is a continuation of a previous CZ, however, I chose to trade it.

Update: PA reversed after my entry to hit my SL. The big BO occurred while I caught a few zzz's so I missed it.

5 shot on the demo until now....3 win 2 lose on pair : GU, EU, UC

The first two using trailing stop EA Lock ProfiT 1st TP 1:1 R/R + 5 pips to lock, 2TP 2:1 + 5 pips, 3TP 3:1 + 5 pips.....

The last three using fix 1:1 R/R.....

Remember, FH said you should be using an ADR of 100, not 30, and you should use more than 22 bars to get the best CZs, just a little advice. I say that because I don't show either of the CZs that you have on your chart.

Mer brings up a good point. This is something that has been covered quite a lot by now. It's only a suggestion, but I suggest it for a reason. So what I'm hoping for, is that my suggestions get tested for a few weeks before other settings are tested.

For example, with my standard 24/15/30 settings I see 18 back boxes, or 4.5 CZ's per week, according to the indi. Yours is showing 61(!!!). None of my CZ's are over 30 pips tall, while yours are over 40.

You are bascially in the same boat that Tcp was in until a couple of days ago. After 8 weeks of testing his own settings, he finally decided to reset all his pairs to my suggested settings. From his last couple of messages he seems to be very glad that he did.

Hi Guys - just wanted to say hello and thank FH and Squalou for all their teaching and programming efforts on this thread. It's such a refreshing change to find a focussed thread which doesn't go off on a hundred tangents leaving you confused and no better off than when you started.

This thread reminds me of being at Uni - providing a learning environment and the basic tools and knowledge for us to go, study and hopefully, become successful.

I spent last week reading through everything, making notes and dragging 30 pip boxes around my screen! This morning I decided to get the indicator set up on the following pairs:

GBPUSD, USDCAD, EURGBP, EURUSD, AUSUSD & GBPJPY. They are all set to default apart from GBPJPY which I've set to 26/100/0.236/100 as per an earlier post. They are all giving me 2 to 3 boxes per week. I've also set up the TP levels as per Mer's setup (thanks Mer for that very useful post regarding your TP's yesterday).

Starting on a demo account today. Will post charts and results as and when they happen.

Already close on Cable at 1st & 2nd tp..maybe other guys have more guts to wait another move down to 1.57 ..I always believe that trading live,even as small as U$ 10,can give us good training on psychological aspects of trading (which is one important things in forex trading ).When in live trading i start to realize how much gut i have ,and now i know i only have small guts so 20 - 30 pips is already enough for me.If we can grow a small account consistently then we can grow bigger account too..Just my 2 cents & No offense to everyone here.. You have got it right - In my opinion demo accounts are a waste of time.

NOTHING PREPARES YOU FOR TRADING -

EXCEPT TRADING WITH REAL MONEY - Use a miro lot - BUT YOU HAVE TO RISK
