DislikedI hear a lot of traders talking about discipline...they say trading is about 80percent phsychology and 20percent techinical....but i ask this question...how can a trader be disciplined when they dont have a proven strategy. You can be the very disciplined trader in the world, but if your strategy doesn't work, yu will not make mny in the mkts.
I believe a successful trader create discipline by having a strategy or method that they really believe in and have confidence in it. If you really believe in your method/strategy, i think thats what brings...Ignored

First of all I would like to say nice thread!
Secondly I have to agree and disagree with the above statement. You obviously must have a good system to be able to exercise discipline no doubt, and indeed once you have tested and can see you have a good system it is much easier to be disciplined. However, on the other side of the coin, you can see that there are many traders out there who with an excellent system, still manage to lose money, whereas others have not such a great system but remain profitable.
So I agree with your...Ignored
