lots of US data later in the week wed/thur might have to wait for that for further QE3 talk.... but all things being equal, any temp. relief rally from QE3 talk would be a sell at this point I would think, as far as EU...

big psych levels coming up on dow and s&p futures...

I don't think Moodys will wait that long in the week to downgrade Euro banks. I know those downgrades are somewhat priced in already, but get the feeling it will accelerate the fall if/when it comes.

Lots of Euro buying by the SNB this morning too, just look at EC, that is holding EU up.

EU has no business consolidating here technically or fundamentally, it is in look-see mode. Something is going to give one way or the other today.

There is not a single bourse in the green across the world this morning.

yea true, thats probably a done deal... but I was talking about the FED and QE3... fisher is a nonvoter and a known inflation hawk though

Well I have a key weekly FA (ECB hike swing) /TA (weekly S) level at 1.350x. Check weekly chart for reference. Is the first weeks Feb 2011 and I have a note on my FA chart pointing at "ECB confirming rate hikes by April...".
