I'm excited for you, brother! I remember that stage where I said to myself...I think I'm good enough at this to give it the respect it deserves...and lets find out for real.

I know you're already rock solid...and definitely making your way, but the more of the markets you expose yourself to, the better your odds of finding exactly where your place is. You've come from a direction that I think is the reverse of how a lot of people flow. They start out on lower TFs...and wind up on wider ones. Maybe I'm wrong on that, but that has been my experience with people over the years....

Lost my thought there...what I'm saying is...having started out wide, I really think your going to come into some of the lower TFs with a very broad understanding of the forces at play...fakeouts...breakouts etc. Maybe you won't do it forever, but whatever time you do put in will hugely benefit you back out wide as well.

Lost my train of thought while marking up the chart...first time I've really done one. Not so bad...takes a while, but not too bad. Oh yeah...was also drinking beer...yakking...and admiring ladies.

Will edit this post if I remember in the next few hours...or create a new one with a better example of my entries and exits. Just wanted to put this one up because Ramses posted his. Somewhat interesting comparison.

I agree with this brother. I also started on higher tf, but the real beauty is with lower tf when it comes to breakouts and faker bastards.

In my experience, this is what I have noticed...

Those coming from higher TFs have a very broad overview of market structure. They understand the importance of patience...and if they didn't have Money Management down completely, they would be back at their 9 to 5 job long ago. In reverse...

Those that started on lower TFs often learn lessons the hard way. Don't see the bigger picture. Constantly feel the need to be "in" the market...and really struggle to grasp MM...hence blowouts...or really nasty capital losses. Back to 9 to 5?

Anyway...one arsehole's casual observations...

Venice will shred it up...no matter what the TF set.

Yep. I've been practicing with the 10m chart... pretty much everything has traded just like the bigger TF's... Biggest focus for me right now is try and stick with the intermediate trend and be more aware of the new highs and lows being created.

Starting off a a Supply/Demand trader has put me more into a counter trend style... and I've noticed the pips tend to come so much easier when you are with the trend, in time and execution.

Do a pretty decent job at picking tops and bottoms too... you can always tell, because when you enter the area, there is a really annoying fight that takes place for quite a bit of time, especially on the higher time frames. To me, it seems better served to let price turn, then jump in on the next wave.
